Making an impression

I woke up to a 4 degree atmosphere and was not prepared to get out of bed. Let alone wake up, dragging myself to the bathroom I go through my daily routine and head to my closet. I have so many clothes but a lot of them don’t fit. With the limited option I have to choose from I find myself throwing on a tight red dress that show a little more clevage than I would like. But hey. I’m meeting all of the alphas and their protégés today, why not make an impression. Applying some light makeup and mascara I finish off with some rubi red matte lipstick and grab my black Stilettos before taking one last glance and heading downstairs to the kitchen.

“Good morning Alexa, could you please make two black coffees, one flat white and my caramel latte. All with one sugar but two for me please and bagels to go.” I smile genuinely to one of my staff.

‘Of course Alpha. I have already called your driver Alfred and he will be out the front in five. The beta and gamma are waiting for you out the front mam’ She hands my a cup tray and a bag of bagels, with the small smile.

“Oh Alexa how many times do I have to tell you that you can call me Aurora” grabbing the items from her.

“O-okaay than have a good day miss Aurora” I let out a small chuckle and wave goodbye pacing myself out the door.

”You can’t do that, It’s not fair!” Peter protests and stomps his foot.

”That didn’t stop you lastnight did it.” Elliot says with a smug look.

” I don’t care she is our be— I cleared my throat trying to avoid knowing why my best friends were arguing. Which felt like it involved me intirely.

They both looked at me stunned before Elliot breaks the ice

‘Good morning Alpha. Please forgive us for the juvenile behaviour’ as they bow there heads.

Tsk tsk tsk. Is all I said before laughing. “Shut up Eli does it look like we are on duty yet. I hope you have the files for the meeting, and good morning to yourselves.. Let’s get this over with before I go back to my bed. Here is your guys coffee black with one sugar.” I hand it over

as the car pulls in and out pops Alfred wearing his black suit with his hair slicked back revealing gray strands with his signature grin ready to open my door.

Good morning Alfie, I say giving him a deathly hug. Here is your flat white.

”You are too kind to me miss Aurora. Thank you very much”.

”please your like an uncle, I’ve known you my whole life. If it wasn’t for the loyalty you have for my parents then you’d be more than my driver.” He just silently nods As I proceed to enter the car.

I scoff my face with bagels as Elliot goes over the proceeding for the meeting while Peter sits opposite us with his arms folded giving me a death glare.

“What’s up with you” c*****g an eye brow.

He then pouts. “Are you going to share.”

Eli cuts into the conversation with a facial expression that showed complete mischief. “Yeah cause you share with everyone right he says playfully slapping his knee.

W-what are you talking about? Pete gives Eli a look of horror and anger.

”Yes Eli we kissed, it was weird and no I will not kiss you too because that’ll be more awkward.” I calmly say giving Peter my last two bagels.

Eli Huffs and pouts at me. “Fine. I didn’t want to kiss you anyway” he says poking his tongue out.

“Oh goddess. How am I friends with tweedle dumb and tweedle dweeb.”

”That’s not even the right saying i***t. And I ask myself the same thing all the time. Peter says.

” It’s probably because I’m smoking hot and yous wanted to up the social ladder Eli says wiggling his eyebrows while tending his muscles”

“your an i***t Elliot” we say in unison.

15 minutes go by and we finally reach the building as we walk to the conference room. With Peter in front of me and Elliot at the back. As we walk in 3 alphas surround the table with there main pack members and mates at the back of them, as Peter apologises for our late attendance. As he moves to the side for me to take my seat.

“ excuse me who do you think you are sitting in alpha Marcus’s chair” Alpha Liam of the midnight terror pack exclaims.

”uh, yeah what the hell is going on” Alpha Felix of the dark moon pack said eyeing me sternly.

While Alpha Derek Of the black night howlers watched intently knowing who I was.

Raising an elbrow I rose back to my feet as they basically eye f****d me making me want to rip their throats out trying to recollect myself Alpha Liam spoke up again and not in his favour.

”uh I see she is mere entertainment for us until Marcus arrives. Come here baby sit on my lap.” I could here snarls coming from the back I’m guessing from his mate. Within a second I lost my s**t and had him pinned to the wall with my claws and eyes going bright blue.

He gasped for air and in between his breathes he said “your eyes”.

“Yeah I know strange isnt it” when any other wolf gets mad there eyes go black where mine have always gone to an electric blue that will put you in a trance. Only a few people have seen them and lived to tell the tail but they were from my pack.

”listen now and listen good, I am only saying this once. My alpha voice boomed through the room with fear struck in all of there eyes.

“My mother and father the alpha and Luna of the silver wolf pack were slaughtered in a rouge attack 3 months back. As I have had this time to prepare and take on the role as both alpha and Luna with my fathers beta Cameron in charge since their death with my absence. I am here to either remain as allies or become enemies. But heed my warning, looking into Alpha Liam’s eyes. I will not tolerate being belittled and womanised. I will not hesitate to kill you if you are a threat to me or my pack. Am I clear.”

Everyone nodded in unison. As I eased my grip on Alpha Liam’s neck and lent in to his ear. Earning a growl coming from his Luna

“You are lucky you have a mate with what you just pulled. Show her the love and attention you give to other males or one day she will reject you and find someone that will.” With that I released him as his Luna ran to him as I took my seat

“so where do we start “ cracking my knuckles.

after 5 hours we were done. We all agreed to remain allies after Alpha Liam and his Luna went out for a “chat “ she strode back in with a grin on her face saying they will sign the contract giving me a wink. when Alpha Liam walked in with his head down and a slightly Rosie cheek.

I held back a laugh that at any moment could escape as well as everyone else in the room.

closing things up I went to the bathroom letting the guys know I’d meet them at the car. I was stopped on my way back by none Alpha then Alpha Liam and his Luna.

“Excuse me Alpha Aurora I am Mary this ones mate.” She says poking his shoulder.

“ I want to apologise for my behaviour it was rude and uncalled for” he said scratching his head.

“Don’t worry about it. Just don’t let it happen again please. I am sorry for losing my temper. My alpha and Luna would always say I’m a hot head, it runs in my veins. Anyway I have to go I’m on a tight schedule. Please excuse me.” Giving them a nod while making my way back to the car

“Oh my 18th birthday is this Saturday if yous would like to join our packs and come celebrate. I will really love it. I’m sorry it’s not a formal invitation. I’ve had a lot on my plate these few months.”

of course we will be there! We wouldn’t miss it right Liam” she snapped.

“Of course my Luna” giving her a peck on the cheek.

My day was tiring to say the least I dragged Peter and Elliot to the mall with me buying everything and anything I liked. We sat down and had some lunch which looked like their was enough food for 12 people. What can we say we are growing wolves. We continued shopping then headed to the pack house while Alfred to my shopping to my house.

Everything was up to date and running smoothly in the pack house with no confrontations. We sorted some minor repairs in some of the pack family homes before the three of us headed to our house.

We sat and ate dinner together talking absolute s**t for a good hour before I headed up to my room to take a much needed bath.

My feet were killing me wearing those stilettos for a good 13 hours. After about an hour my water was getting cold And my body was becoming pruny I thought I should get out after drying myself off I slipped into a pair of tracks and a singlet.

I jumped into my safe haven before letting the dark consume me.
