Chapter 3
He was born and raised in West Haven, New Hampshire. After a nasty divorce between his parents, he was taken away by his mother; this is how he ended up in Samoy, living with his mother and Aunt Ravine until he was eighteen. A graduate of Meriting High School. A scholar of photography at Manchester Royal College in New York. He has no family now. No mother. No aunt. Choosing to communicate with neither. No life outside of Samoy. He gets by as a carnivore, keeping away from vegetables and fruits. He’s not wealthy, has some of his jarred money buried fifty feet away from the cottage. He’s not angry or bitter, a true artist under God’s care, lost in himself and his work, photographing the sunflowers from dawn until dusk, with very few interludes.
