It was the end of August and autumn was vastly approaching. The plants in the greenhouse were growing very nicely but no flower bud had appeared yet. It was Saturday. After I finished my Fajr prayer, I fixed myself some fresh scrambled eggs with toasty, crisp parattas. Shehzad was fast asleep and I reckoned that he would get up late. I was glad that he had a good night's sleep for once. His work and studies wouldn't allow him to get enough rest. But it relieved me to know that he was in peace for once. After I read Surah Maryam from the Qur'an, I headed towards the greenhouse. The plants didn't need any pruning so I decided to shower then with water spray. While doing that, I engulfed myself in the Tasbeeh—praising Allah for all his bounties bestowed upon me. My life was going normal
