The following Saturday, Aaron sat on the heated deck of Lyn's Eatery with Felicity for their first date. Although she was wearing a sweater and jeans this time, her sweater was at least two sizes too big.
Normally, Aaron didn't care what anyone wore, but he found himself annoyed that Felicity hid her figure even on a date. He suppressed those thoughts quickly. She isn't a flashy person, he reminded himself.
Besides, this wasn't about attraction or chemistry. This was about seeing if she'd make a suitable mother figure for his niece and nephew. Aaron couldn't be selfish in this regard.
