Sawyer was disappointed to find Elizabeth was back at their home already by the time he got back with his sister. He had hoped that she would stay with Jonas and Saga, and he didn't really want to ask her why she had come back. She pushed him against the wall as soon as he closed the door and he pushed her away and smiled at her response. "I take it you missed me, then; is this why you came home?" Elizabeth blushed and looked down at her feet. "I'm sorry. You know what this does to me, I can't help myself." "It's Ok. I told you I've missed this, and I meant it. I would have to be crazy to complain about you responding to me like that." "If you were gone much longer I would have done far more than kiss you." "Oh? I'll bear that in mind next time I go out, then. I'd like to find out what I missed out on." Elizabeth looked back up at Sawyer and tried not to get too caught up in the way he was looking at her. "I'm not sure that's a wise idea." He held her face in his hands, enjoying the soft noises she made when she was frustrated like this and the way she held her breath when he kissed her gently. "Have you ever known me to do anything wise?" "Fair point," she smiled, and he laughed at her response; he had been expecting her to compliment him rather than agreeing without any hesitation. "But it felt like you were gone forever and you may have missed this but I really do not enjoy the way it feels when I am in Heat and you aren't around to make me feel better." "That is an interesting way of saying you hate it when I'm not around to sleep with you...do you want me to make you feel better now?" "Yes," she exhaled and she sounded relieved by the offer. "Come here then; tell me what you need to feel better, and I'll give it to you." She blushed again and he found his heart was racing at the sight of her. "Will you please just f**k me so I can think straight." He smiled; she was less shy than he expected, despite the fact she was blushing, and he was glad he was glad she had come home rather than staying at his sister's house when she was so frustrated. "You did the right thing..." Elizabeth was still catching her breath and she wasn't sure what Sawyer was talking about so she shrugged and asked if he wanted a drink. "Elizabeth?" "Yes?" she turned back and he repeated the statement. "You did the right thing... coming back here was the right thing." "Oh... thanks?" "I'm not trying to make you feel weird, but I was worried you were avoiding everyone and... it's pretty clear you made the right decision. You weren't always confident about things like that, it's reassuring to see you aren't so unsure of yourself now." Elizabeth continued to get herself a drink, thinking carefully about what to say to him. "Is 'you aren't so unsure of yourself' your way of telling me you actually trust that I really do want to settle down with you?" "It's one way of saying it," he gave a half-smile , "the other way is 'I actually trust you know what you want'." Elizabeth turned away and stared at the cup in her hands to hide the fact she was blushing again. "You look really cute when you blush; I don't know why you always try to hide it." "Because it's embarrassing? I'm an adult - the fact I have some control over myself really shouldn't be noteworthy." "Why not? You found it difficult to adjust to this the first time around - I just want you to be confident about yourself this time, and the fact you made the right decision today is noteworthy to me. You don't need me to watch over you all the time anymore. You can take care of yourself now." "God...you really make it sound like I was helpless before, you know that?" Sawyer shook his head slightly and it was obvious he regretted what he had said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that." "You're kind of right though," Elizabeth smiled and Sawyer relaxed when he saw that she wasn't really upset with him. "That's not important anymore, is it? You're not helpless anymore - that's all that matters." "I was pretty f*****g close to helpless before you got back." "The fact you feel that way about it proves you weren't - you know your limits." He smiled when he said it and pulled her into his arms, "and you do feel much better now, don't you?" She nodded and relaxed back against him, "Yeah, I do." "Good," he leaned down to kiss her neck  and she shivered. He smiled, enjoying the way she moaned when he kissed her neck like that, and he curled his arm around her, pulling her closer to him. She reached back between them to undo his pants and he laughed at her eagerness. "Please don't tell me you're that frustrated already?" "You started it," she twisted around in his arms to look at him. "Pressing your hard-on against my ass was hardly fair." Sawyer let go of her and sighed.  "I'm sorry."  "She's beautiful, by the way…I can tell she's special."  Sawyer smiled at the fact Elizabeth had so casually changed the subject, and at the fact she seemed to mean it. "I'm glad you went to see her with me. I know it didn't seem like it, but it meant a lot to Francesca."  "Why?"  "I don't know… I'm just happy things seem to be working out."
