Helen's Point of View (Witch Healer for the Succubus and Incubus.)
I was helping a young women deliver her first child when the alarm bells went off. I looked at the young woman with panic in my eyes.
I have never heard those alarms before, and I knew that we were under attack. From who I do not know?
"What is going on?" Bell asked as she began to scream. This contraction was massive.
"We are under attack. Phil, I want you to pick her up and walk through the portal. You will be taken to a hospital. Alert them to the attack and have your little one. I need to help everyone here."
"Thank you," Phil said as he picked his wife up.
I started to chant, and a portal opened, and I watched as they walked through. I could hear people screaming, and I ran out of the cottage.
"This way," I screamed as I quickly summoned another portal. I could see many of the houses going up into flames, and then the air got cold.
I started to chant and was levitating high in the sky. AN army was here of creatures I had never seen before. I raised my hands to the sky and opened several portals. My people knew what to do. I would take them to Alpha Tristan's pack, and hopefully, everyone would make it safely there. But, just as I opened another portal, I felt my power start to drain.
I was not strong enough to support portals because I was an elemental witch, but I could do it. Then, just as the last of my magic was giving out, a fireball was shot into the sky and at me. It hit me in the arm, and I fell to the ground.
As my head hit the ground, I knew I could not save everyone, but hopefully, enough people got through, and help was on the way. Then, I felt my vision go dark.
I woke up in the same position I had passed out in but to my body covered in sweat. The buildings around me were on fire. I stood up and looked around, and the streets were empty. I tried to summon another portal, but I was too weak. I decided to head into the woods.
There were no enemies near me, and as I passed the last house, I could hear crying. I followed the sound and found about ten of my people.
"Helen," Elder Ben said as I approached.
"Is everyone okay?" I asked.
"Yes, but we did lose a few people," The Elder said.
I closed my eyes upon hearing we had lost a few people. "What happened to the army of people that were attacking us?"
"They disappeared," He said.
"Let's start walking through the woods. My powers are drained, but we need to reconnect with our people."
As everyone stood up, we began to walk. My arm was on hurting badly, and I leaned over and vomited.
"You okay?" the Elder asked.
"Yes, I was hit with a fireball, and my arm is hurting."
"Let me take a look."
"Elder Ben, I will be fine. Do not worry."
We walked through the woods until it became dark and made a small camp. All we had was a small fire, but that is better than nothing.
We walked through the woods for nearly a full day when we heard the sounds of feet coming our way. My powers were still drained, and I looked at the group of people and said, "Hide."
As everyone hid, I stood there waiting for the army to come towards me. I would give my people the chance to run, but suddenly I saw a wolf. After that, wolves and Lycans began to run towards me, and then they stopped in front of me.
The largest of the wolves and Lycans shifted, and it was Alpha Tristan. But, instead, Alpha Tristan was a Lycan.
"Helen, are you okay?" He asked as he approached me. Just then, I heard a growl, and a wolf ran towards us.
The medium-sized grey wolf came between the Alpha and I and growled.
"Shift," Alpha Tristan said as he looked at the grey wolf.
The wolf whined, and then I heard its bones c***k. A very naked man stood before me. He had curly long blond hair and grey eyes.
"Mine," He said as he grabbed my hurt arm, and I hissed out in pain.
"Let go," I screamed, and the man let my arm go.
"You okay?" He asked as a painful look crossed his face.
"I will be once my powers have rejuvenated."
"What happened?" Alpha Tristan asked.
I felt the man step behind me and grab my hips pulling me up to his chest.
"Everyone, it is safe to come out," I yelled. I watched as the small group of people who were with me walk out of the woods.
"We were attacked. I was able to create several portals, but I could not keep them open for long. Finally, I was hit with a fireball and passed up. I woke up to the village burning around me."
"WHo attacked?" The man behind me said as he sniffed the spot between my neck and shoulder.
"I am not sure, but perhaps the survivors could explain what they looked like."
"Sounds good." Alpha Tristan said. The Alpha turned around and shouted, "Set up camp and help those who survived this. Anyone with any information on who attacked you, please come see me."
"Let's go get a healer to look at your arm," The man behind me said.
I turned my head and looked at him. "What is your name?"
He smiled and said, "Cree."
"Well, Cree, it is nice to meet you."
"Same."
Cree grabbed my good hand and lightly pulled me towards a man with bright green hair. "Rehan, will you look at my mate's arm?"
"Of course."
Rehan walked over to me and ran his hands lightly over my arm. I could feel the magic pulse through me, and my arm stopped hurting.
"You will need to take a few antibiotics just in case. When we return to the pack, I will get those for you."
"Thank you."
As we started to walk away, Rehan said, "You need rest. YOur magic is low."
"I know."
