Zack's Point of View

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My friends were being set on fire and I just hoped they came quickly.

"Now I have something special for you," Lenny said as she walked up to Cora.

"Lenny please stop this," Cora said as she looked at those in the cages.

"Don't you want to know what I have planned?"

"Not really."

Lenny smacked Cora on the left cheek causing a loud sound and her head to move to the right.

"I hope you go to hell," Cora said.

"No honey you will be there for what you did to me."

Lenny turned around and said, "Bring me my tools."

Two men walked up to the platform carrying a chest and placed it in front of Lenny. She opened it and there were a bunch of different tools I had never seen before. She ran her hands over the tools and grabbed one.

"What is that?" I asked.

"I want to know where the child is. Just imagine we could raise the child together."

"I would like that," I said as I tried to contain my emotions.

I watched as Lenny walked up to Cora. Suddenly screams could be heard from one of the cages causing me to look in that direction. Lenny began to laugh and those in the crowd began to cheer.

'How far are you?' I mind-linked Leo.

'Coming now,' he quickly responded.

'She is burning them. Hurry.'

After regaining my memories I was able to mind link my brothers and was able to find out what was happening. We agreed I would pretend to be under her spell but seeing those I called friends burning alive killed me.

'How far? I need to do something.'

'Do it,' he screamed through the link.

As Lenny laughed, I looked at Cora and smiled then transformed into my dragon.

"What are you doing?" She screamed but I ignored her and flew into the sky. There was a lake right behind the castle.

I flew down towards the lake and scooped water into my mouth and as I came up I saw Leo and Gabe flying towards me. I quickly flew back towards the cages and dropped the water onto the cages. As I circled back around Leo and Gabe approached and did the same. Those in the cages were now safe.

Suddenly I heard screams from the crowd and could see an army of people move towards the crowd.

"No!" Lenny screamed. Suddenly she grabbed a knife and walked over to Cora. As I approached she plunged the knife into Cora's chest and laughed.

"If I can't have you no one will."

I quickly descended and transformed into my human form. I ran over to Cora but she was dead. She was no longer beating and I screamed out in pain.

"You will be mine again," Lenny said as she was about to disappear but suddenly elder Rachel and another woman came into view and blasted her with a light. Lenny began to scream but as she tried to fight back her magic was not working.

I unchained Cora and held her to my body. I am not sure how long the battle went on but soon I felt someone touch my shoulder.

"Zack are you okay?" Elder Rachel asked.

"She is gone."

"I know. Her light is gone."

"Can you bring her back?" I asked.

Elder Rachel shook her head and said, "I can not but we will give a proper burial."

I looked around and the cages were opened and everyone was set free. Those in the crowd were now lying dead on the ground and Lenny was chained up and being held by Leo and Gabe.

"Why have you not killed her?" I asked as I set Cora down and walked towards Lenny.

"Because she will be punished by the way of the witches. Her body and soul will be stripped of all magic so she won't come back."

I walked up to Lenny and grabbed her by the throat. "She does not deserve to live."

I felt a hand touch me and it was the woman who fought alongside elder Rachel.

"I am Helen and if you kill her now without taking the proper steps she can come back. We need to do this by the book."

I let go of Lenny causing her to fall to the ground as she gasped for air.

"Get her away from me. Rachel where is my child?" I asked as I thought about the baby Cora and I made.

"Safe and will soon be here. Leo and Greg, can you take her to the place zack and Cora met? We will do what we need to there and prepare Cora for her final resting place," elder Rachel asked.

"Of course," Leo said. Leo grabbed Lenny's arm and began to pull her away. She did not scream or anything but she had a menacing look on her face.

"This is not over. She has something planned."

"Of course she does but when the time comes she will be destroyed," Helen said as she looked at Cora.

"You know something, " elder Rachel said with a questioning look.

"It all makes sense now," and Helen walked away.

"What was that about?"

"Helen is a seer."

"Seer as she can see into the future. "

"Yup."

I walked over to Cora's body and picked her up. I removed the dagger from her chest and said, "what did we have?"

"Hope," is all Rachel said and walked away.

"Hope, what is that suppose to mean?"

"You will see." 

Rachel stood on the platform and faced everyone. "Listen up. Everyone will need to return to my coven. There the coven will be rebuilt and you will have shelter. During this time reconnect with those of your packs and covens. If you have any info on those in hiding please inform the person that is the head of your pack or coven. We will find your loved ones and rebuild Haven"

Helen's Point of View

Portals were made and it didn't take long for everyone to get to the coven. Elder Rachel left after everything was settled with Zack and Cora. I used my magic and recreated their portal and walked through. I waited for everyone to leave Cora's body and walked into the room.

I looked at Cora's body, closed my eyes, and placed my hand on her chest. I allowed the power given to me to flow into her and when it was done I smiled and portaled back.
