Chapter Twenty-Seven

All I can see is darkness, I hear voices, but all I can see is darkness. What the hell happened? Where am I? I need to wake up, but I can’t seem to open my eyes. Why is this so hard. I need to wake up and get to school, I need to find Keegan and Hannah. I need to find them and figure out what is going on.
Before I have a chance to try and do anything I start to hear voices.
“When do you think she will wake up?”
I know that voice. That is my mom. Why is she asking when I will wake up? I am right here. I am awake, mom! I’m right here. I’m trying to open my eyes mom, please.
“I’m not sure, it could be today or tomorrow. It’s just a matter of when her body is ready to let her wake up.”
