Chapter Twenty- Six

This was not how I wanted to meet my girlfriends’ parents. I press down on the accelerator to try and get to the hospital quicker. I need to be with her when she wakes up.
When we make it to the hospital, we all make our way inside and up to the information desk and ask the nurse manning the desk where Destiney is, and she gives us the floor and room number. When we get there and ask the nurse on her floor what is going on all she tells me is that I’m not family, so I have to sit and wait.
Ten minutes later an older couple comes in and looks to be in a frantic state and something tells me this is Destiney’s parents, maybe it’s the fact the I can see the resemblance between Destiney and her mother, how they both have the same long dark hair, the same cute
