When Ares told me that there was somewhere to trade a few days away I assumed he was referring to another pack. I first caught the scent of humans early in the afternoon and I assumed we would stay away, or find some way around them.
It was only when he approached me and pulled me to one side as we got closer to the settlement that I learned that we were going to be spending time amongst humans.
