I felt completely lost as we started to walk away from the campsite. I wasn’t sure where I should stand, or who I could talk to. I wanted to stay close to Ares, but I felt like people would judge me for that, so I hung back a little and wandered alone until Jayne slowed her pace to walk beside me. She didn’t talk to me, and Aleks glared at her more than once as we made progress across the cold, grassy landscape we were passing through, but she was definitely walking with me and it meant that I didn’t feel so alone.
