Chapter 5“Jayden,” Joshua says as he shuts the door behind him.
“What?” Jayden winces at how much like a petulant teenager he sounds like.
“Don’t treat me like an i***t, Jay. What do you think you’re doing?” Joshua asks, turning the desk chair to face the room and sitting down.

“I don’t know what you mean. I wasn’t doing anything.” He wasn’t, technically, seeing as Chogan kissed him.
