"Nirbhik please eat baby," Mrs. Anusuiya Chowdhury pleaded for the 20th time to her 5 year old grandson
"no I won't eat anything until Bapi say yes," Little Nirbhik said
"You were not like this Nirbhik then what happened? You never demand anything like this." Mrs. Chowdhury said
"I want to go that's it." Nirbhik said with huff
"I can't say anything in this matter you know that Baby," Mrs. Chowdhury said
"what happened champ? Why are you not eating?" a man asked
"see shan he is not eating anything I'm trying to feed him for so long." Mrs. Chowdhury said to Shan aka Shantanu
But Nirbhik kept mum. He doesn't talk much normally but when he does he makes everyone agree to his demand but that's really rare.
Nirbhik is a shy yet smart kid but he chose to stay aloof.
" hey champ are you angry? "Shantanu asked
He nodded his head in yes.
" and why are you angry? "another man's voice boomed
Nirbhik looked at the person accusingly.
" Aniket, why don't you say yes? "Mrs. Chowdhury asked
" oh so that's the reason behind this drama "Aniket said
Nirbhik pouted his lips and gave his father a pleading look.
" Aniket, let's take him as well with us. Nothing will happen to him." Shan said
" please bapi! I will be a good boy I promise." Nirbhik said almost begging
" Nirbhik you're a good boy Right? Then why are you being stubborn?" Aniket asked his son
"Bapi every student goes for holiday in my school with their parents and family only I don't go." Nirbhik said and wipe his tears
Aniket's heart broke hearing his son. It's like a tight slap on his face as he failed as a father.
"we will take you with us. Now smile and eat ok?" Aniket said
"really?" Nirbhik asked getting excited as he can go out and visit beach
"Yes really now finish your food." Aniket said
"Thamma (grandma) please feed me, I'm hungry." Nirbhik said excitedly
His grandmother nodded and started to feed him.
Shan looks at his friend who has a pained expression on his face.
"Don't feel sad it's not your fault Ani, Shan said
" exactly it's not my fault but it's her fault that she left him alone here. Left us all. "Aniket said with anger
Shan knows it's a waste to talk to him now.
" OK ok calm down and come with me I have something to talk about work. "Shan said to divert his mind and that's worked
Aniket is a workaholic. He doesn't care about anything when he does work.
Nirbhik happily got ready to go to Mandarmani. Aniket and Shan both are best friends and now both are planning to open resorts together on beaches.
The places that are not much popular but soon will be are their choice.
Mandarmani is a place like that only.
Mandarmani is a seaside resort village in the state of West Bengal, India, and lies in East Midnapore district, at the northern end of the Bay of Bengal. It is one of the largest seaside resorts of West Bengal, fast-developing.
In the evening they took a flight to Mandarmani and reached in one hour.
Nirbhik was tired so he slept in the car only.
But before sleeping he ordered both men to take him to watch sunrise at dawn.
Nirbhik has a fascination over sea and early sunrise. He never asked Aniket to take him anywhere else but when he heard he was coming to the coastal area he could not help but demand to come here.
"Nirbhik wake up if you want to watch sunrise," Aniket called his son at 5 am as its winter the sun will rise at late
"Yes I will," Nirbhik said with closed eyes
Aniket chuckled seeing him..
"if you want to sleep then sleep why bothering?" he asked Nirbhik
"no I want to watch," Nirbhik said rubbing his eyes and got up from the bed
He did his morning business quickly and Aniket got him ready. At 5:30 am Shan knocked on the door and Aniket open it
"ready to go?" he asked and Nirbhik said yes with excitement
The trio went to the seaside and found very few people there.
Nirbhik wanted to touch sea water but Aniket didn't allow it as it's still cold and dark.
Nirbhik pouted but didn't say anything.
Soon the sun rose with its shine and Nirbhik watched it in awe.
Aniket and Shan smiled looking at him.
Once the sun rose properly they started to stroll around it.
Both mens are walking through the beach savouring the cool salty breeze that is hitting on their face.
They are talking about the resort project deeply that they didn't notice when little Nirbhik who was with them ran away from them.
Nirbhik is running ahead of his father and uncle.
He is giggling on his own thinking that they could not catch him or knew that he ran away from there. It's really hard to run away from Aniket's gaze.
But suddenly the kid spots a girl who is barely breathing lying down unconsciously on the sand.
Her body is covered in blood and sand ,clothes are torn from places and her face is covered with her hair and sand with a lot of blood not to mention.
It's Tulika's body that has come here with the waves.
It's a proven fact that the sea never takes anything; if you give something to him then he will return it back.
If it's a human then maybe he can return it alive or dead but he will return it for sure.
"Bapi!" Nirbhik screamed on the top of his lungs
Aniket and Shan both got alarmed by his voice.
They tried to find him but couldn't see him.
"where did he go?" Aniket asked Shan
"I don't know he was here only." Shan replied
"Bapi!" again Nirbhik screamed and this time with tears he is scared after looking at Tulika's body
Any kid in his place will be scared.
Aniket and Shan spot him ahead of them.
They both ran towards him and found the reason why he was screaming.
"Bapi see someone is hurt," little Nirbhik said holding his father's hand
"come here big boy let your Bapi check her ok," Shan said to the kid and took him in his embrace
"check if she is alive or not. I think someone r***d her and left here.." Shan said to Aniket lowly so Nirbhik won't be able to hear them
Aniket bent down and checked her.
"She is breathing but it's very low. I'm taking her to the hospital . You take him back to the hotel and after dropping him come to the hospital," he said and picked the tulika up without caring about his clothes getting ruined by her blood .
"kakai (uncle) bapi kothai jache?(Uncle..where is Bapi going?)" Nirbhik asked
"oi j didi ta akhane chilo or batha legeche tai doctor er kache niye gelo. Abar amra hotel e jai thik ache tomar bapi Chole asbe Taratari." (Your father is taking that sister who is in pain to the doctor. Let's go to the hotel...your father will come quickly)Shan said and took Nirbhik hotel back.
