Tulika's pov
They both looked at me when I said that.
"I had some money with me and I want to give it to them for the bright future. So you won't sell priya for any reason." I said and took the cheque out
I had already decided that half amount that I got I will give it to my siblings.
They haven't done anything to me that I will hate.
" what money? "my mother asked
" it's the money I got by sleeping with an old billionaire. "I said with a taunting smile and they both has disgust in their eyes for me
" what happened? Feeling disgusted? You didn't feel disgusted when you sold me there. You didn't feel disgusted when you took money after selling me then why now? "I asked them and they looked away in shame
" I am placing this cheque here. "I said and placed it on the table nearby
" I'm leaving, and don't worry I won't come back here again ever. Consider it as our last meeting. "I said with great difficulty as my tears are threatening to come out
" where will you go? "my mother asked
" anywhere in India. India is a big country and I will get a place for myself here. "I said
" why don't you stay here? "my father said and I shoot him a look
" oh yeah I should stay here only. But then what will you tell others and your children? How did your dead daughter come back alive? That too 8 years later. Won't it harm your reputation? "I asked him and he has no words
" good bye and consider me dead this time for real. "I said and opened the door to go out. I can't stay here for any longer enough for now or else I will surely break down.
When I went outside I saw my siblings looking at me. Their eyes have curiosity to know what is going on here.
What a bad fate I got ? I can't even talk to them nor tell them that I'm their sister.
I smiled at them and left my parents home.
Today tulika Saha died here and only tulika is going out.
Their daughter is really dead…
I don't know where I should go or what to do or not.
I'm so confused about my life.
I decided to book a cheap hotel room for today and stay there then I will think what to do.
I walked back towards the sea where all hotels are available.
My stomach growls indicating it needs food..
I only had half a packet of biscuits for my dinner.
I took out the biscuits and ate them but I'm hungry and I need something more.
I saw a shop and went there to eat something.
I took butter toast and ate them. And this time I have covered my face with my stole. Because I don't need anyone to lust over me again.
I paid the shop owner and asked him about a cheap hotel.
He gives me directions for two hotels that are comparatively cheap.
I booked one of them and stayed in my room only until lunch time. I haven't thought anything about what to do or where to go from here.
I sighed and decided to have my lunch from outside and then walk near the seaside.
I had some rice and egg curry as its costal area lobsters and prawns are available very much but I can't have them as I'm allergic to seafood so I took egg curry.
After lunch I strolled a little by the seaside.
Sea side has always been my favourite from my childhood. I came here to play and make sand castles.
The last time I came here a day before he took me to Sonagachi.
I sighed at the thoughts. I can't stay here as these memories won't let me be at peace.
I really wish that I forget everything that happened to me Including my childhood memories.
I don't want to remember these horrible memories.
But I'm afraid to wish it as well because my wishes always come in a way that I never imagined.
I stood in my place as sea water touched me.
The water felt good on my feets. I felt like someone was looking at me or I was gawking at me.
But the beach is empty today because the weather is not so good and a little cold as well. Sea side is never cold but sometimes exceptions happen as well.
In December not so many people come out to sea this time.
I looked around to find someone but found no one.
I shivered as I stood in water for a long time.
It's now evening time and the weather isn't good. It's like it will rain very soon. The sky is covered with dark clouds making the sky black. I stayed there a little more because I didn't want to go back soon.
When it became too dark I walked away from the seaside and started to walk towards my hotel.
Strangely, all the shops are also closed. Maybe because of the weather.
Still I felt someone's gaze on me and that's making me uncomfortable.
I started to walk quickly and took the narrow alley where my hotel is. but suddenly someone held me from my back and I tried to struggle. He had his hand on my mouth so I won't scream.
Oh god where I am struck. I didn't stop struggling and as a result my clothes were torn off by a few places. I had only my scarf with me it's already taken away.
I tried to stomp my foot on the person who is holding me but I couldn't.
It's not one person but more.
Will I be r***d again?
I did what I thought was good . I stopped struggling and the hold on me loosen a bit. I bit the hand of that person and kicked him.
He left me and I started to run. I don't know where I'm running but I'm again in the seaside.
I can hear them coming behind me but I didn't dare to turn around.
I was running until I stumbled on the rock and fell on the ground and got hit on my head.
I screamed in pain as Black dots appeared in my vision as I slowly lost my consciousness.
Author's pov
4 men stare at the unconscious body of tulika.
They drag her body towards the place that has more palm and coconut trees and bushes.
"such a waste of beauty that we have to kill her." one of them commented
"She is Really feasty I must say she kicked me hard." another one commented
"she isn't much older then why madam asked us to kill her? She looks so innocent." one of them commented again
"yeah but maybe her characterless husband is lusting for her. Poor girl has to die," another one commented
"shh! That b***h is video calling. We have to show that we killed this girl." the head of them said and took the video call
"madam your work is done we killed that girl." the man said and show Ratri Tulika's body that is unconscious
"good, very good, this b***h only deserves to die. You will get your p*****t and yes throw her body in the sea." Ratri said and cut the call
Someone took a big rock and hit her on her head hard making more blood spill on him and her body.
He hit her again and was sure she wouldn't survive.
"her breathing is swallowed and she will die eventually." the head said as he check on her breathing
"She won't make it till tomorrow, don't worry about it. We should throw her body in the sea," another one suggested
"hmm we have to, there is no one because of the warning of heavy rain. I am thinking why this girl came here in this situation." the another person spoke
"we don't have to know that let's get done with the work." the Man said and throw her body in the sea
Her body got flown away with the waves.
