Mia's POV
I didn't know what to say to Baine as he took care of me. The scrapes weren't that bad. It really wasn't even all that necessary. A quick clean with a wash cloth would have been fine, and i honestly could have done it myself. When he offered to carry me, i just thought that he would carry me to the bathroom and let me do my thing. I wasn't expecting him to draw a bath and clean my feet for me. It was a sweet gesture. One left me speechless. I never expected him to be so tender and gentle. I felt like maybe he cared about me already.
It also made me become well aware of how much i owe him an apology for making him feel that he was doing something wrong when he wasn't. That was never my intention.
