Mia's POV
We sat around the booth laughing and drinking. We all shared a few appetizers. I was actually really enjoying myself. I thought tonight was going to be a total dud. To my surprise, i actually liked hanging out with Colby and Jack. They were hilarious. They both bother bickered back and forth and were constantly teasing each other. I could tell they had been friends for a long time.
Baine never came over to the table. I just assumed that he was hanging out with Alyssa. Colby and Jack both told me they weren't dating. If that were true, then why didn't you come over to hang with us? The bigger question is, why did i care?
Colby already said that their work was done for the night, and someone was already covering the bar and tables. So he was either with another girl or purpose
