Preston POV
Tonight was going to be a big night. The Alpha meeting was in full effect and we were hunkered down outside of Cameron’s territory, waiting for nightfall.
Earlier in the day we saw three black SUVs leave the territory. Cameron, his Beta, and a couple of warriors were in the first one, while the second and third were loaded with more warriors. It seemed like he was more concerned with this meeting than he was about protecting his territory.
We waited for the sun to set before making a move.
I was feeling anxious, I wanted nothing more than to kill Cameron and take back what was rightfully ours. But that wasn’t going to happen, not tonight anyway.
