Alpha Knox POV
I stayed by Sheryl’s side until she eventually woke up. She was feeling a bit better, but I could see the internal struggle she was having. She was thankful for everything we had done for her but asked me to leave so she could be alone. I could see the pain in her eyes and knew that now was not the time to bring up Kyle or his punishment. I figured I could give her a couple of days before we had that discussion, it wasn’t like he was going anywhere.
I left her room and decided to stop by Tatiana’s to see if she was there. After the kiss we shared early, I haven’t been able to get her out of my mind.
