ANNA:                 Even though it is strange to be in the house, in a way it does feel like home. I sit in “my spot” on the couch as Samantha calls it, and something about it does feel familiar. But not in a way I can explain. Dad starts talking about food again, I’m very hungry, and we finally settle on Mexican food, after Samantha reminds them that I have to eat soft things to start, and Dad says rice and beans will do me just fine. Samantha and Dad jump up and head into the kitchen to look for the Mexican takeout guide and argue on what to order.
