His Only Reward **Completed and Free**

Chapter 20: Meeting The Moon Goddess

Jamie ran into the forest and quickly took off her clothes.  She was in luck that it was in the afternoon and the four guys had gone to their own personal training ground. It was at least 30 miles away, as they had to be out of the Elemental Forest Boundary. They could not risk Accidentally destroying something. Even though it would be instantly reborn, it was not worth pissing off any Gods unnecessarily.

 Jamie wanted to be much distance as she could between her and the elemental cottage. She emptied her mind and recited the words of the cloaking spell she had learnt. Her whole body shimmered purple as the spell took effect.  She transformed into a hawk, like how she practiced so many times, and launched into the air. She then used the wind to fly off into the distance.

5 hours later

The Four hybrid demons were laughing and joking as the walked up to the elemental cottage. It had been a great training session. They managed to spread their wings and burn off some energy.  When they reached the cottage, Lux asked “ Where is the Princess? I want to test her metal fan fighting skills!” He declared happily.

“I bet she is practicing her shadow walking, dam she is getting good, I can hardly feel a thing!” Edward Laughed.

Nerida walked out the cottage with a cup of warm tea. “ Hi guys! Good to see you so happy. I have just made a cup of feverfew tea for Jamie. Where has she gone?”

Lux face suddenly fell ‘ she is not here with you?”

“Don’t  be silly, she waiting for you by your camp like she always does after her session. Jamie can nevEe wait for a certain someone to return “ Nerida said with a  smile.  She gave Richard a quick wink.

“She’s  not there” Lux said slowly

“Wait what? She has to be, because she not here! She not been seen since her lesson with Harken.“  Nerida face suddenly Fell. She knew Hakan was not at all happy about what had been going on.

“f**k! Harper And Edward?” Richard shouted 

“On it boss.” Harper ran towards the camp. He is the best out of the group at searching for things, even in the shadows. Edward ran in the opposite direction, he was the best in the group at tracking.

“Lux, can you feel anything?“ Richard demanded.  Lux closed his eyes and his body shimmered black for a few minutes. He cursed. “ I knew I should never have taught her that spell” Lux spat.

“What is it? “ Richard snapped.

“She cast a cloaking spell, a powerful one too. It is going to take a while for me to break it” Lux admitted.

Harper arrived back “ she not been in the camp this afternoon, her scent is too faint and there is no signs of spell casting”

Just then Edward returned with a top and a pair of slacks in his hand. “ I found these Richard, they are definitely hers. There are no tracks anywhere after that.  She must of shifted into a brid of some and flew off.

“Of course she bloody did! “ Richard cursed. Inadvertently they had created a monster, some one who could remain hidden indefinitely.

“I don’t understand!” Shouted Nerida “Why would she run away? She was so full of love for you, I could feel it. She was happy!”

They could do nothing until the cloaking spell was broken. Once it was, Richard would be able to feel her presence and teleport to her location. In the mean time..

“Lux and Harper you continue working on breaking that dam cloaking spell. Edward, lets pay Hakan a visit” Richard said with black eyes..

Jamie had been flying for for 5 hours and she was tired.  The sun was getting low in the sky and she knew that she had to find cover for the night. She circled around, round till she found a cave with a pool near by.  She  swooped down and landed. She shimmered and changed into a silver wolf.  Jamie had no clothes on and it was too cold to run around naked. 

Jamie trotted into the woods and relived herself. She then walk back and took a lapped some water some cool water from the pool. She sniffed to check the cave was completely empty . Then she laid down and put her large head onto her paws. She sighed and closed her eyes.

“Oh f**k, oh f**k!” Dagon shouted in my Edward’s mind “stand the f**k back before...”

Edward felt a massive surge in energy and was thrown from the area. He cursed and quickly said “this is not good” Edward said to Dagon

“As much as I love you stating the obvious, Edward you really need to transform now! “ Dagon Hissed

Richard had fully transformed into his Demon Amon. His body was completely black, With deep marks over his skin. If you were luckily enough to get close to Richard/Amon without being killed, you would see the marks were  runes of power and protection. Richard, a direct descendent from a high level demon, and was not messing around.  His wings where completely unfurled and spread at least 12 feet in diameter.  His broad sword, named Bane,  was in his hand. Richard’s entire body was shimmering black and radiated power. He was standing opposite Hakan seething.

“ What the f**k did you say to her Hakan? “roared Amon/Richard

“What’s the matter Richard, did you love birds have a fight? It might give us Elementals a break from smelling your filthy stench on her! “ Hakan body was completely consumed in blue fire or God’s fire. It was the hottest fire in all the realms and could do some serious damage to anything it could hit.  

Hakan redirected a Black Fire ball that Amon/Richard had launched at him. “Who do you think you are dealing with scum?” Hakan retorted.

Edward saw the large black ball of energy coming his way. Suddenly large blue wings unfurled and pushed 20 feet up in the air. “Thanks Degon you saved my arse again” Edward said he let his demon take over. His skin turned blue with black runes on it. Two horns grew out of his head and his canines grew longer. He also had Power and protection runes on his skin. 

“Oh it is all coming out now isn’t, you c**k sucking fire pixie!  You could never accept she was happy with me. What did you say to my mate?!?“  Amon/Richard Shouted.

“She’s not your mate though is she? When she was banished the bond was broken.“ Sneered Hakan

“ It Wasn’t broken it was torn, don’t talk about what you could possibly understand, you shitty little fire sprite !“ Richard delcared.

“Well, the fact that she doesn’t have a mate mark means you haven’t completed the ritual yet on her mortal body. Not for lack of trying I bet!” Hakan said furiously “ the thought your filthy chaos infected hands on her makes me want to vomit. But it is of no consequence now, Half breed!”

“If you have hurt her.....“   Amon/Richard warned. The ground started shaking as even more of their power was released.

“This guy is a complete prick “ Dagon Moaned “he is f*****g stupid one as well!”   

Hakan scoffed “why would I hurt her?  I just told her some few home truths. How demons cannot be trusted, how your manipulate other beings feelings for your own sick pleasure. How you were more used to the soft, silky sheets of the Empress of Chaos bed then the rustic sleeping mat you share.

“You said f*****g what Hakan?!” Roared Richard/ Amon

“Oh I did  drop in how she would not remember you at all. I mean she drew her own conclusions on that..”

It was that point Richard/ Amon released the power and there was a thunderous boom.

Jamie work up startled as she her a thunderous sound in the distance. It was dark, but there did not look like there was any thunder clouds. She instantly smelled a unfamiliar, but calming. A mixture of Star jasmine, tuber rose and honey suckle. The women looked up from the pool and smiled  “ ah child you are awake, I did not want to disturb your slumber. It has been a long few weeks hasn’t it child?” Jamie gasped, the women was stunning. She had Snow White skin,  midnight black hair, stunning purple eyes and a black crescent moon in the middle of her forehead. Jamie quickly bowed he wolf head in respect, realising it was the Moon Goddess herself.“As much as I love wolves, can you please change back into your human form and sit by me”“But I be naked” Jamie thought 

“I taken the liberty of putting some clothes out behind you with a hair tie, so don’t be embarrassed child.” 

Jamie turned round and saw some leather trousers and a loose light blue top. She shifted and put the clothes on and tied he hair up into a bun. She slowly walked to the pool. The Moon Goddess smiled and pat the rock down the side of her. Jamie sat down nervously. “ I thought it is about time we had a chat. I have heard so much about you from The Crone Goddess, I could not resist!” The Moon Goddess said brightly “your training has been going very well I see.”“Yes Moon Godess.” Jamie had not looked up from the floor, she was in the precence of a high Goddess and she did not know really why.

“Why should I not visit a follower of mine? You put offerings on my alter often enough. I do love the wild daisies you use to pick as a child“

Jamie was not convienced that was the reason, but she dare not disagree. Another thunderous boom sounded and Jamie head shot up, it was much louder then the last one. 

“ Oh I would not worry about those two, they are about to get stopped by three very perturbed Elements. Talking of males,  you seem to making a habit of running away from the males who see who love you.”

Jamie gasped “ Goddess..” a deep red blush formed on her face.

“I mean look at Raoul”..the Goddess said casually 

“He does not care about me! He probably forgotten about me and his c**k sucked nightly by that women” Jamie spat. The Goddess raised an eyebrow, Jamie realised what she has done “ No disrespect meant Goddess” as she bowed her head in respect.

“My, my,  if I did not know better, I would say that you had some Sun God in you with that temper of yours. Do you really believe that Raoul does not care about you? What about Sam and Mrs Oakwood? Shall we have a look?” 

The Moon Goddess moved her hand over the pool and it shone brightly. A scene slow appeared and Jamie Recognised it - it showed Raoul’s study.  Well what use to be Raoul’s study. It has been completely destroyed. Books where flung everywhere, there was not one piece of furniture left standing and holes in the wall. Holes and claw marks where someone had tried to escape. 

The image changed and focused on two men. One naked, huddled in a corner. His ribs were showing and there were large bags under his eyes. He looked pitiful. The other man was standing finely dressed.

“Rao you must stop doing this to yourself”

“f**k off Steph“

“I know you are in pain, but I still your King “ Snapped the finely dressed man. “You need to get a grip and fast! Sam is beside himself with worry and  Mrs Oakwood and Thorne are magically drained trying to find her. Even Black Winter has not hurt anyone in weeks, he just sulks. Dam it Rao, I need my best friend and spy master back!”

“I don’t care. “ Whispered Raoul 

“Well start bloody caring Rao! Your pack needs you, I need you and the country needs you! If you are missing from the Summer ball,  enemies and allies alike will  sense weakness. We can’t have that especially with chaos followers getting powerful again,

“And We need her!“ Raoul said his eyes going Amber.

“We tried everything, Rao. Maybe she just does not want to be found my friend “  Steph said softly.

Raoul closed his eyes and banged his head against the wall. “I waited so long” he whispered 

“I know My friend” Steph said Sympathetically

“And I f****d it up for a s**t blow job“ Raoul grumbled 

“My friend you might be an alpha werewolf and a excellent spy master, but you are still part human. I sorry to break it to you, but humans f**k up. The mate bond was not there at that time, it is just unfortunate it happened when it did.”

“I will go”

“What?” Steph said suprised

“I Will go to the ball. But I want to be left alone till then and I only doing it so Kitten has somewhere safe for when she gets back”

King Steph sighed “Deal”

The pool shimmered again and went black. “Yes, it looks like everyone is doing remarkably well” the Moon Goddess. Jamie was speechless for two reasons. One reason was because of what she seen,, the other because she didn’t know the Moon Goddess could be sarcastic.
