MEL “Breath in, breathe out,’’ I tried to stabilize the pain like we had been taught. The pain was blinding but I needed to get moving. I had my fair share of injuries, but with a weapon laced with wolfsbane not yet. If I removed the blade, there was the chance of spilling some of my blood, so I worked with the next best thing. Bending the knife till I could break it off and leave a piece that would reduce my rate of bleeding out. A few tear drops later and sweating profusely, I managed, shifted to my human form, wore the body suit and beanie, and walked away. Each step I took was agonizing and my breaths were already coming out in short breaths as I struggled through the pain. My current state would have been laughable in the Spirit realm. A simple wound incapacitating a warrior! T
