Chapter 10
Ashley
My arms feel heavy and weak. My head pounds from front to back. Every time I breathe, I can feel the pain in my ribs. My eyes slowly move over my body, taking in the bruises around my wrists, my arms and whatever is underneath the bandages on my face and neck. The worst pain comes from between my legs. I want to cry, but no tears come.
All I can taste is him. All I can smell is him. The hottest water couldn't wash away the filth that covers my body.
How could he do this to me?
I can still hear his voice calling my name over and over.

"Ashley. Wake up."
