With Amery's connection and my wolf's state of restlessness, I am able to track her to a cottage in the middle of nowhere, far away from the outskirts of our pack and the mansion. How on earth did she get here?
Upon arrival, we are welcomed by the dead bodies of armed warriors scattered across the premises. I look closer, only to realize that I had seen them somewhere before. The stench from their bodies was definitely a familiar one that I had come across one way or another but I couldn't exactly pinpoint the exact place or location where I had seen them.
"Are you sure that your wolf led us to the rig—" Asher paused when he head a soft groan coming from inside the cottage. He quickly abandons me outside and dashed inside the almost vandalized building to rescue her.
