I threw a chunk of the raw meat into the wolves' cage and I felt a sense of sudden anger wash over me.
The wolves began to eat, and I watched them, lost in thought as I was reminded of how strong and fierce they can be — yet had failed to take out one of the greatest obstacles of my life.
"What do you want?" I snorted when I felt Asher's piercing gaze bore holes into my skin from behind.
I had noticed his presence ever since he walked in on me. His idea of stealthiness wasn't exactly something that I reckon with and I have no idea how he managed to figure out that I was here, in the cave.
"You should know why I'm here Levi." He primped. I sensed the anger registered in his voice. "You always seem to know everything and are quite on top of things if you'd ask me."
