When Two Beasts Fell in Love

Chapter 5

Chiara with her group quickly ran back home, hoping everything was okay. But they never expected what they were going to see when they got there. They lost it all when they saw the devastating place, their home.

Houses were on fire. Children were running everywhere escaping from death while some were just crying besides their mother. Mothers wailed while holding their child but got detached soon when a creature pulled them. They were struggling but they couldn't do anything. They're taking them somewhere and some of them were parents of the teens she's with. Also, dead bodies are scattered all around them.

"No! Mother!"

"Mommy!"

“You monster! Let go of my mom.”

“I'm gonna kill you!”

Scream after scream, she heard it all but she became absentminded when she saw her own mother being dragged out from their house. She could not see her sister, which made her panic. But for now, she needed to save her mother.

But it seems they couldn't escape since the attackers saw them. They were fast creatures, so in just a second, some of them were already surrounding the teens. Only a few of them knew how to fight, so it was really a big disadvantage on Chiara's side. However, it never stopped their determination to help their mother and avenge the death of their family.

This time, Chandra also saw her daughter being cornered. Because of what she saw, she got the courage to fight back. She saved her younger daughter but her eldest needs her. Using her magic, she threw the guy that was holding her. The guy hit the banister but was not affected. The Luna already knew this, so she used the silver wire that was holding their house as a weapon. This is so thin that it can slice everything it will go through. 

"I won't let you hurt my daughter," she said under her gritted teeth. Her family gave her the strength to fight back. The silver wire flew to the Lycan and she decapitated him.

The next thing they knew, Chandra was already taking the Lycans one by one. Chiara also saw the opportunity so she helped her mother. The Beta's son moved with the others to help their Luna, the mother of their pack.

Just using her magic, Chandra threw away the enemies and decapitated them. She did not have the energy to use her physical strength. She used it all when she saved her daughter and let them get away. Her daughter along with her friends passed through the tunnel before she was captured. She was just hoping that they can survive and the one who will find them will keep them safe. 

While the teens used their physical strength like Chiara since her magic was not that good and was still under training. Using a dagger with a smooth movement of her body, she slit the throat of every Lycan she passed through. All she wanted was to get to her mother, same with the other. But it was frustrating when the enemy kept on coming like they never died.

Two Lycans wanted to crush Chiara but she easily slipped on the floor to avoid it. Then she stood up slicing their abdomen. Both Lycans were strong and fast so they avoided it. They smirked seeing how Chiara can fight with them. They got excited and lustful seeing Chiara, a gorgeous girl who can fight them. It excites them and their loin. 

Another two Lycans joined them with a malicious glint in their eyes. Chiara felt disgusted seeing how they looked at her like she's a piece of meat. She didn’t like it and she wanted to kill them. 

Without any more waiting, she attacked them. Maybe they're fast but with the help of magic, Chiara was faster than them. Her eyes became golden with a small dot of black on the center, which means her werewolf was also present. She used her werewolf senses to detect the enemy’s movement and she also became strong that her every blow will surely wound her opponent. Having Alpha genes and her training also helped her to have a precise move to slay.

Chiara swung her body like she was dancing. Every flick of her hand brought wounds on the enemy. Their lust vanished and they began to concentrate on the fight. They knew they would be defeated if they never took it seriously. They underestimated the young woman. 

They looked at each other and attacked Chiara at the same time. Like water, Chiara just dodged it all and gave them her counterattack. She slit their throat. Four big Lycans fell down on the floor, lifeless. It could be good news, but Chiara saw her mother already losing her strength because of too much use of her magic. 

She ran fast and killed all those who blocked her way. She also murdered those Lycans who were trying to kill her mother. When she got near, her mother sat down on the floor exhausted but she had a smile on her face. Chandra smiled at her daughter, thanking her. 

Chiara remained on her stand as one by one her pack surrounded them. At last, only a few Lycans remained. Chiara knew they could defeat them. Beta's son looked at her and she nodded.

They attacked them with all their strength. Some stayed on their stand to protect the Luna from whoever went through their defense. 

Chiara's speed never faltered, instead, she moved faster this time. She wanted to end it, once and for all. 

Regardless of this speed, the older Lycans were still strong for her.  She was easily taken down by the big Lycan. Chiara felt her ankle was injured. She couldn't move it even if she wanted to. She thought of a way to protect herself and kill the remaining 

Chiara waited for the guy to go to her and she will kick him to where the sun rose. That's the only thing guys were afraid of and will get hurt.  But of course, she moved her fingers making her dagger move on its own and ready to strike on the guy. She needed to have plan B in case something happened out of her first plan. 

She readied herself, and when the guy attacked her she lifted her feet to hit him. But she never expects that someone would appear in between. The person used her magic to push the guy, but the guy's reflexes were so great that he easily avoided the blow. He used his strengths and then he threw the dagger on them. It is a win for him whoever will be hit. 

Chiara's eyes got wider seeing the dagger. She used her magic to stop it but it was too fast for her. 

"Mom! Watch out!" she shouted thinking her Mom could stop it. But Chandra already drained all her magic with the teleportation. She didn't have any energy left. So, she just smiles at her daughter assuring her everything was fine. Then she felt the dagger pierce her back, into her heart. 

"Ahh!" she took a breath, wishing the pain would vanish but it just became harder for her. 

"Mom!" Chiara screamed with all the anguish she felt.  She rushed to her mom, catching her before she fell on the ground. Chiara thought she planned it well but she never anticipated that her mother's love was greater and unpredictable. "Mom! Please, don't close your eyes. We will call the doctor and Dad," she said while touching her mom, didn't know what to do. 

Their pack members surrounded them to keep them safe. The guy who did it all smirk, pride shining in his eyes. 

"Lo-look for your sister. Live and su-survive for us. Li-live for our legacy." Chandra said then blood spurted out from her mouth. Life in her eyes was draining as the link between daughter and mother became thinner. 

"Mom, no! Don't leave us. We need you." Chiara cried seeing her mom smiled at her for the last time. Slowly, Chandra's eyes closed. Sorry and anger rose in her heart. 

"Ahhh!" A powerful scream echoed and was heard in the whole place.

Kids and their mother cried as they saw that their Luna had fallen. They all fell down and cried. They love their Luna and her death was their loss. 

Then, they felt another thread was broken. Everyone cried on the moon, they howled with all their sorrow. They lost everything in just a day, particularly Chiara. 

Losing everything also she lost her mind. Her instinct overtook her judgment. Her pack knows it so they all laid down to the ground. 

Chiara stood up and then she looked at them, the Lycans. They all trembled when they saw the young girl's eyes, they were pure gold. They all stepped back. They never saw it before and it was unexpected. 

"I will make you pay," Chiara said no one in particular. Her voice was so dark and dangerous that everyone began to cower. 

Chiara lifted her right hand. A silver wire that was used by Chandra a while ago appeared on her palm. It floated there until it whirl and hit everyone who was standing. She controlled it by just her palm. Some tried to escape but they were all decapitated before they could run. While some tried to fight and kill her, before they could come near her, their limbs were falling apart. 

Chiara looked at them without any guilt. All she could think about was to kill those people who killed her family. Her mother was not the only one who was dead. But also her father. She felt it and the devastating part is she was not there for him. 

She killed them all until she saw no one was standing. Like an overheated gadget, after using all her energy at once, she lost all her energy and she fell. Werewolves were fast, so before she fell down the Beta caught her. 

"We need to go," he seriously said. Chiara was so drained, so she just nods her head. All they could do at the moment was to run away. They knew a new batch of Lycans were coming their way. 

But before they could walk, a scream was heard once again. 

"No!" Chiara slipped out of the man's grip. She ran away from them and transformed into her werewolf form and kept on running. Everyone looked at one another asking what happened. No one could answer that if they don't follow her. 

"Delta Ronald, help them and go before they come here. I'll just follow our next Alpha. She is the only one we got and our only hope." The Delta nodded because he understood what the Beta was saying. 

"I will come with you, Father," Beta's son said. The Beta nodded and then they ran following Chiara. They transformed into their form then catch up with the girl. 

Chiara was still tired so they caught up with her. They both looked at each other when they saw that they were going to the human land. It was forbidden but they couldn't stop Chiara. They needed to keep her safe and they knew she was already hurting. 

On their way, Chiara howled while kept on running. It was full of sorrow, a kind of howl. Then they realize where they are going. They understood the loss of the young girl. She really lost all of them. 

They kept on running until they stopped on the top of the hill. There, they saw a burning house in the center of the field. If someone was inside, no one could make it out alive. 

"Ahhh! I will kill you!" Chiara's scream echoed on the whole mountain. Sorrow, anger, and devastation were visible on her face. 

In just a night, everything dear to her was gone. Everything was taken away by just one person. 

Her parents were killed by this person, and she knew the same as her mate. She smelt his scent everywhere. 

She despised him with all her heart and she wants him vanished. 

This guy has only one name…
