Mark’s POV
Well, that was certainly a surprise! Amanda had planned to reject my advances until her idiotic ex boyfriend showed up at the bar. That was the only reason she took me home with her, because the ex was watching us.
After leaving the bar, I’m told I had a mini breakdown next to my car. Not only that, but when we got back to her place we ended up not hooking up at all. Instead I ran to the bathroom to puke, and then passed out on her couch! I ask for more details, and she happily gives them all to me.
I’m surprised after a night like we had that she was kind to me when she caught me rifling through her boxes, and that I was able to convince her to marry me at all. It’s inconceivable! She is obviously a very caring and generous individual.
