Mandy’s POV
As soon as we get to Mark’s timeshare condo, I have to rush in to use the restroom immediately! And I make a very unwelcome discovery... I have every woman’s ‘favorite’ monthly visitor, ‘Aunt Flo’. My period. The monthly curse! No wonder the dress yesterday had felt uncomfortably tight, I was obviously retaining water.
Damn! What a fun start to a honeymoon, NOT!
Although in a way I am also quite relieved! It’s maybe a day or two early, but I did pack supplies knowing to expect this soon. And thankfully I always carry some tampons in my purse as well.
I wash up a bit, brush my hair and teeth, and finally exit the bathroom. It’s time to explore my home away from home for the next two weeks!
