Bachus and Lear are placed in a single room.
Within this room are two soldiers placed near the doors. These guards for the generals are spear users. Meaning, if any of the generals tried to escape, the soldiers could easily use their weapon to thrust through the body of either general. Something which neither Bachus nor Lear wanted to try out.
Aside from this, there is also a chair right in front of them. It is empty but, seeing as the two of them are facing it, the generals have already guessed what was going to happen. They were probably going to be interrogated at that moment. And, if this is truly the fate that awaits them, both generals were willing to kill themselves on the spot before they break and squeal vital information from their kingdoms.
