I thought about all the good things that had been happening since Lance tracked me down. A genuine smile stretched across my face, then I endearing replied, "It has been wonderful. Lance is an amazing guy and a total gentleman."
"Lance is one of the sweetest guys you will ever meet. I used to hope he would be my mate, but I'm glad he's mated to you. I can tell he is happy. Plus, you two are so cute together," Lizzie thoughtfully remarked. A few seconds later, she timidly asked, "Did it hurt when he marked you?"
"It stung for just a second, then it felt really good before I passed out," I answered with honesty.
"I can't wait to find my mate. I hope he is just as amazing for me, as Lance is for you," she dreamily murmured.
"I'm sure he will be awesome,"
