Alan tried his best to finish work early today. But, in the end, he failed to do so as an unexpected meeting took place which helped him to return home late.
Even after he managed to get out of the office, he was stuck in traffic for one hour.
He peeked outside the window to see that the cars were still standing. He spotted a police officer passing by so he called him.
“Excuse me.”
The officer came toward him and asked, “What’s wrong?”.
Alan placed his hand on the window and peeked his head out.
“I’m stuck here for hours. What happened here?”.
“An accident.”
“We need to clean up the truck which got involved in it with the car also. The person inside is now being taken to hospital.”
“Oh, how long is this going to take?”.
“Half an hour. We’ll try our best.”
