“So what are we doing?” Annette leaned over to the front seat while staring at the busy street that laid in front of her. “Obviously we’re going to meet with an informant” Livia rolled her eyes as she went through her phone. “I was talking about the case” Annette bumped the back of Livia's seat and she turned to her looking really pissed “What are you looking at?” “Okay! Okay that’s quite enough” Leon stated abruptly stopping the car “please can we not do this” “No problem Leon, so about the case?” Annette smirked. Leon paused for a while and took in a deep breath, he glanced briefly at Livia and then back at Annette. “The rogue out are selling some enhancement drugs to people which temporarily alters their genes giving them mystic powers, it’s only brief but it’s addictive and dangerous… plus they are abducting mystics to generate their drugs” Annette nodded slowly trying to process what she’d just heard. “Normally the head quarters deal with this kind of stuff so I really don’t get why Louisa is getting involved” Livia frowned “just a waste of time if you ask me” Annette stared at the two in front of her ‘was she missing something?’ she thought to herself, it was getting pretty difficult to know the exact objective of the rogue community. “What exactly is the rogue community and how are you even different from the rogue out” With the way things were going she wasn’t sure if she was after the humanoids of the rogue community or that of the rogue out. Placing her hand on her head she stared out the window at the busy passers-by. “I hope I didn’t get on the wrong bus” she muttered “So…” she turned to Leon while placing a cigarette between her lips. “Well we are the government’s dogs, we carry out their dirty works for them… cases they can’t handle or just carry some illegal deals for them” Livia sighed “Rogue out are just factions of us mystics who think that working for the government quote and quote humans is beneath us and honestly I agree with them” “Finally we agree on something” she really couldn’t believe this, obviously the government were using the rogue community to sustain their power, why didn’t she think of this earlier. The people around the world relied so much on the government and sometimes referred to them as gods, to sustain the peoples complete dependence on them they needed a situation to keep them attached. Annette smirked at this realization. The organization was bigger than she thought. “And all this while I thought you guys controlled the government… well I was really wrong” “The government fear us so they keep us a secret and under their control… they’d probably wipe us out if they feel we are no longer useful to them” “Why don’t we join the rogue out then?” Annette grinned leaning over to Livia “Okay you two are getting along in the wrong way” Leon said staring at the two in disbelief “Nah! The rogue out ideals are really messed up… won’t survive there” Livia stated, she moved her hand towards Annette’s lips taking the cigarette that laid between her lips, she definitely had something on her mind. “We should be going” she turned over to Leon who nodded and immediately turned on the ignition. “Hmm…” Annette laid back into her seat 'I see I have my work caught out for me' she muttered to herself, her quest was not just to find her parents killers but to crush this organization who had decided to play around with the helpless people around the world…. The rogue out, the rogue community and who ever they were working for. “I think this is it” The vehicle finally made a stop at a run down warehouse. Annette took a look around and something about this place made her feel uneasy. “This informant of yours, who is he?” “Don’t worry, we been working with him for years now” Leon stated “Lets head inside” he added alighting the car and Annette did the same. They made their way to the back of the warehouse, where a huge truck was packed… Leon briefly examined the truck and took note of its plate number. Livia had left them a while earlier to contact the informant. “So this is were they do the smuggling?” Annette yawned moving towards the back door of the ware house. “I’m heading in tell me when you are done with whatever you are doing” she stated slipping into the building, standing around doing nothing wasn’t something she was good at. “Ann…” Leon trailed off as she was now out of sight “God, what does she think she’s doing?” The interior of the warehouse felt so cool and was demarcated by a glass wall. “They probably have a hidden room around here” she casually placed her hand in her pocket and glanced around the warehouse, it looked like a lab filled with various lab equipment, well Leon was right about the smuggling of drugs for sure. “Looks pretty shady” she smirked, The sound of struggling and explosion sent her attention towards the front door and shortly after it came open, she immediately crouched by a table trying to figure out what was going on. “Let go of me” Livia yelled as she was being pulled into the building by a lanky guy with a business man look. He had on a dark shade and one hand was placed in his pocket, several guys also rushed into the warehouse behind the lanky guy. He threw Livia across the room with a remarkable strength. “ I guess today is my lucky day. A beauty just happened to wonder into my property… it’s really a rare sight” The man grinned. Annette stayed quietly behind the table, they’d obviously walked into a trap and she had no idea what to do at this point. She turned over to the back door “Where the hell was Leon?” she could obviously take out this guys but then again they were mystics…. She glanced at the back door again and then back at the guys that laid in front of her. “Seems like I don’t have a choice”
