the hall was filled with eager ears ready to listen, many students all from different departments and fields , stood by watching as the lady dressed in a black suit speaks to the mass. her voice as clear as day echoes in the room bouncing back and circulating for every one to grasp it.

" Infinite institute. your school has been selected by our company amongst millions of schools. you are called to take part in an opportunity of a lifetime. our company has developed a new simulation that can change the future of man kind, a virtual reality world that lets you navigate the past without altering the future. your main goal is to play a game retrieve the given item and advance to the next level . once you complete all levels you will be rewarded 10,000,000."

everyone mummers and gasp at the mention of the cash prize, truly the only way to get people's attention is money. the hall gets dark and the screen behind her lights up showing a beautiful world , the world on the screen looks heaven like, green trees, water falls. flowers ,birds. animals, rivers and clear sky, a world that at first glance can bring a smile to anyone's face. these days modern technology has advanced the time were people would wear VR glasses just to experience virtual reality was over. now many companies have developed new simulations that allows one to not only see but also walk in such a world, a world being shown on the screen looks too good to be real.

"mankind has been known to adapt and overcome any challenge, we have evolved from primitive life to a world of great civilization and we shall continue to do so for years to over come, our species shall forever leave a mark on this universe. our generations will study our knowledge just like you study the knowledge of your ancestors, we created all sorts of challenges that will help determine how we will react to certain tragedies that may occur in the future and with this test we aim to find better solutions. are you willing to create that path for your people, are you willing to play???"

the light is brought back in the room. the lady in black is not on the stage anyone, the only thing left is silence each individual contemplating the information that had been delivered. they look at one another. this could really be an opportunity of a lifetime, although this school was inhabited with the most diverse and intelligent of minds, every student had a story and a different life separating them from a collective they were simply ordinary humans but together they made up this great institute of education, a chance at that kind of money could be life changing for anyone. a game that one gets to show of their abilities, a game that will elevate them. to a next life in level not only in that virtual reality game. they all think of this.

slowly people start exiting the hall retreating to the things they where doing before the briefing. a strong will being set in some who are certain they will emerge victorious, uncertainty for those who have fear of taking part and for those with one goal and their head, the prise.

"there is no way i am taking part in something like this it has to be rigged, all that money for a game that looks so simple..no way" one student said to his friend shaking his head.

Enzo listened to his friend disapprove the idea of such a game being authentic. "Maybe it is ...maybe its not" He said looking ahead at the blank screen and turned around facing Levy. "I guess you wont know unless you try it"

"are you thinking of taking part in it?"

Levy asked Enzo with amusement written all over his face.

Enzo did not respond. he had his eyes glued on a couple that walked past them. he looked at the eyes of blonde with golden locks and sun sky blue eyes. she looked at him for a second before focusing her attention on the man holding her hand.

"maybe" Enzo finally spoke. his friend walked away too leaving him in the same spot.

Three nights pass the deadline for the entry has been set. several students already agreed to participate. Enzo lays in bed contemplating his choice whether to do so or not. time is ticking and every second goes by. he has a lot settle a lot he needs to deal with, that 10,000,000 can save his family from debt from finances problems , student loans and much more. he studied so hard to get admitted into the institute of higher learning. but the fees that came with that are too much for his poor family to bear. a new window opened and he knows he must take this opportunity, "hello ...Levy....i'm doing it" he made his final decision.

Levy belongs from a family of higher status than Enzo and he too decided to take part in the game, not because of the money but he wanted to prove to his parents that he can be independent and manage his own life away from their forced rules they have on him, this would also in return buy his freedom. it was a game he needed to be part of, all the strong brains at the institute would surely be part of it too. he knew himself to be smart. "ill do it too" he said over on the phone.

an hourglass of time stood by the desk of the secretary, the sands poured from one glass to another . The two friends sat in the lounge waiting for the director of the company . they came to the headquarters in order to sign up for the virtual simulation game.

in order to participate in the game. one needed to be away from their home."sign these documents" the director gave the two papers for them to sign. Enzo and Levy read the documents carefully.

" the registration is complete. ..you will be escorted to the preparation room where you will be prepped for the simulation...it will begin in less than 5 hours best of luck"
