chapter 2

(evil isn't a cosmology mystery it is just human selfishness )

Enzo and Levy entered a room with glass walls. it was no surprise that they were not the only ones. 25 students also lined up next to what seemed like a Cylinders that were blue and had several pipes attached to them. the room itself gave creeps it looked like a scene from a SciFi or a futuristic movie, they were made to change their clothes into white plain pants and even shirts. and made to walk barefoot on the cold floor.

"you have agreed to take part in this simulation and gave legal concert. what you see before you are pods that will be able to transfer you inside the simulation, but before you go. you must know the rules."

a voice spoke, this time there was no woman or the director just a sound vibrating through out the entire room. Enzo looked ahead anxiously waiting to hear what the rules are, when something caught his attention , the same ocean blue eyes looked at him from the end of the line. it was the same girl he saw yesterday. and just like yesterday she shifted her eyes to the man that held her hand. he was in the room next to her.

"Rule number

1: your main objective is to do all you can to get to the next level. your performance will be monitored"

2: find the red Box. it has the key that will take you to the next level."

3: don't fail.

the room went silent for a few seconds before the pods open with smoke coming out. No one moved as all eyes looked at each other. finally one student stepped forward into the pod and it closed shut after he entered. Enzo looks at Levy. and everywhere else behind him, more students start stepping inside into the unknown Levy and Enzo nod at each other as giving each other assurance before entering in theirs. he breathes deeply, the inside of the pod was covered with different types of screens and buttons. he looks around taking everything into detail. 10. 9. 8. 7. 6. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. the count down ends at 0 and a gas starts rising from the bottom filling up the entire room. his heart is pounding and raging this seemed different from what he had expected. Enzo thought they would be sited in a room with large screens or glasses or something but this seemed beyond . straps wrapped around him like seats belts all across his body. once the room was filled with smoke, everything went dark. he inhaled the gas filling up his lungs. he tried to remain awake but the gas pulled him to a realm of darkness. Enzo felt like he was sinking in an abyss with no way out.

he opened his eyes feeling the big rays of light blinding his eyes. he breathed deeply as though he had been deprived of oxygen for ages. his vision was blurry and couldn't make out his environment. "Enzo" he heard someone call out his name, it was his friend Levy. Enzo rubbed his eyes and looked ahead he noticed they where not dressed in white clothes anymore, instead. they were in a attire that looked like it belonged to the army except it was black in colour and black boots.

. the images started getting clearer he looked at everyone around him all looking confused at the scenery . something on his hand beeped. it was a metal bracelet that seemed tightly placed there showing (00:00) was that the time he wondered . every one seemed to have the bracelet on their left hands too . many voices could be heard of students talking and whispering, getting up slowly he looked around and saw they where standing in middle of dimly lit large room. with floor to ceiling windows. "are we in the game?" a girl with black straight hair asked rubbing her hands as if she were cold.

"i don't know..." another girl answered.

"you..... guys!!!!!!!!" one girl was standing by the window when she called out to everyone her voice cracked and her eyes wide open as she looked out through the window. she looked terrified to death.

everyone rushed to the windows to see what was happening, shock and fright could be seen and heard through out the entire room. what lay outside the building was more than terrifying .

they where inside a tall building that stood in the middle of what looked like the remains of what was once a beautiful city.

abandoned car, buildings on fire and many more things, was this a simulation of an after math of an Apocalypse or was this real.

"this cant be real .....right? ....this is a game" one student asked . his questioned came from a place of fear and he was asking like he needed reassurance. a building burst into flames from a distant making an earth quake, the impact could be felt even in the place where they stood and everyone fell to the ground screaming.

once everything calmed down. a giant screen appeared in the middle of the room. "level one begins in 5.4.3.2.1 "

Enzo looked at his bracelet it showed different numbers than before (24:00) the numbers on the bracelet started dropping as seconds went by.

the moment the voice stopped counting the building started shaking. the students panicked worrying the building would explode just like the one the saw.

some girls even started screaming.

"everybody calm" someone yelled. "remember .......we are brought here to test this game...panicking wont help."

"this building is going to fall apart " a girl stressed out the facts.

"its just a simulation ....all we have to do is get out this building then level one will be completed right? ...." another one who was getting annoyed with the yelling suggested.

the building shook again and pieces of brick started falling on them one by one. Enzo saw a door that was shut

"there is a door over there" he said. A lot of them started pushing it open but it was pointless.

"we need to break it." someone suggested

"how???"

"everybody look for something, anything that will help we don't have time now!!!"

they all moved away from the door searching to find anything that could help.

Enzo flipped some tables over and saw nothing.

he rushed to the other side to see if there was anything. it seemed people forgot something ,...they also needed to find the Red box. and time was running out, this building will collapse to the ground.

another building exploded it was like a chain reactions of buildings exploding had started was this building next.

"i found this" the girl with straight black hair pulled an axe from a pile of boxes .

they all rushed towards the door, using the axe the strongest among them hit the door with as much strength as he could. other students fell to the ground when another building exploded . and

the door finally opened.
