Xander recapped for our priestly friend the trials and revelations of our last watery adventure. By the time the tale was done Apuleius's lips were tightly pursed.
"If it is true that My Lady's father created a portal than that would indeed be a grave crime against our world," he commented.
"And Miriam would not be spared a portion of the punishment," Xander finished for him.
Apuleius closed his eyes and shook his head. "No. The rules are not well written, as such a breach is considered a reckless use of magic even by those who study the Portal's magic, but she would be interrogated in order to learn of her father and what he may have done to our world."
