Salvage Thirty-One: Timone “Why are you here Timone. You have made your choice and I have work to do.” His words pierce my heart as I look at his stoic face. I glance at the man who is looking in-between the two of us with shock on his face. I hear my sister huff as she knows that I am not the one to air my feelings out in front of others. I stare at my mate and feel his anger coming through our bond. All of it was directed at me. I keep my distance as I watch the man walk off with my sister. I wait until they are out of ear shot. Looking around, I flinch as I see the remains of battle. The dead bodies as pack members are coming to claim their dead. Children and adults crying over their lost family members.
