WHEN Yaya Miranda told me about Keycee's death, I rushed to Ace's house immediately. Yaya said she overheard Ace and Keycee's mom talking in Ace's room when she went there to pick up Keycee's belongings. Apparently, Ace never gave Keycee a chance to explain what happened back then, leading to all of this.
"Ace! Ace!" My voice echoed through the house as I climbed up to his room. When I entered, I found him sprawled on his bed, with bottles of alcohol scattered on the floor. The room reeked of alcohol—it was awful. "Ace, get up! We need to talk!" I yanked the blanket covering him, and a piece of paper fell to the floor, so I picked it up.
Keycee's letter?
I read the letter, and as I did, I couldn't stop my tears from falling.
