AFTER dinner, Ace went straight to his room. From what I heard earlier in his conversation with Yaya Miranda, it seems he's going to check test papers now. I need to see my exam result as soon as possible before I drive myself crazy wondering if I passed or not.
I was about to knock on his door when he suddenly opened it. "Whatever you're planning, don't continue. I know you know I'll be checking papers now, and if you think you can sneak a peek at yours . . . you're mistaken." He abruptly closed the door, and I heard the lock click.
I had no choice but to go back to my room. I really just have to wait until tomorrow to find out my score.
