Noah and I have always shared a deep connection. We don't impose restrictions on each other just because we're in a relationship. We are free to admire certain people we find attractive. But sometimes, Noah's jealousy gets over him and he will swat me or do something else.
His friends don't step back either when it comes to loyalty. They stand with whoever is in the right between us. They've been like this since the day Noah and I had our first fight.
After dinner, we paid the bill and bid the farewell with a group hug. The chilly night sent a shiver down my back and I clung to Noah's side for warmth instinctively during the walk towards the car.
In the car, I started the radio, and a song was already playing. Noah reached for my palm and blew warm air on it to keep it cozy. That small gesture made me drown to him and throughout the drive my gaze was fixed on him.
From his long eyelashes to his full lips. I adore every feature of his. His father and mother are remarkably beautiful. So it was obvious for him to inherit their good looks.
But it wasn't his captivating looks that made me fall in love with him. I loved Noah for who he is as a human. When we met, I didn't even know his face. We were actually talking anonymously to each other on social media with fake names to connect deeply.
So you must be guessing what actually happened. The thing is, back in high school, there was a fair organised by our hometown mayoress on Valentine's week. Noah and I decided to meet each day of the fair for a week.
And before our encounter, we also made a pact that if we enjoyed each other's company, we would take our friendship one step further by dating.
Initially, when we started dating, Noah and I agreed to see different people. But as we couldn't persue other people by the end of July, we finally decided to commit to a relationship, and since then, our bond has been unbreakable.
So now you guys know how we met. It's time to get back to reality. We arrived at my place. Noah didn't come inside; he said he had an important meeting the next day.
"You can leave for work from here also, baby.".
I whined like a child. He saw my pout and kissed it. Noah's finger went through my hair gently, and he caressed it lovingly.
"I can't; I don't have my formal clothes here."
He spoke sadly. I saw his disappointed eyes and fought back my emotions. He was disappointed because he couldn't do what I asked.
"It's okay... I will see you soon. It's just that I am Noah-sick now."
I made a joke hastily wanting to ease his burden. I knew if I didn't make a joke, he would go and grab his formal clothing to come back here rather than leave for good.
Noah and I lived 2-hours apart. He lived with his mom and dad because he's an only child, and now that he's managing the business, his father and he do half of the things from home.
"I love you."
I kissed him after wrapping my legs around his waist. His hands secured around my hips.
"I love you more... To the moon and never return."
Noah explored my mouth with his tongue and pulled me even closer to his body. My nails dug into his shoulder through the hoodie, but it didn't affect him.
I moaned in pleasure when he entered the house and closed the door by kicking on it. He guided us to the sofa, and we made out passionately. Our breath mingled, and became erratic when we kissed each other.
Noah removed my sweatshirt and pulled down my pant. He unbuckled and pushed down the jeans along with his boxer brief. After pulling his hard member out, he gently slipped inside me.
My hands immediately went around his shoulder to pull him closer, when he started moving giving me a sweet pain. Noah's lips remained locked with mine. As the pleasure intensified, Noah rhythmed faster. I couldn't stop myself from moving my hips to match his movement.
Once we reached our high, he rolled us and I nestled my head on his chest. Noah's hands were enveloping me possesively, and we stayed like that to enjoy the blissful moment.
.
Last night, after Noah left, I went to take a quick shower and then surrendered to bed. I forgot to take my pills due to weariness clinging to my bone and when I rummage through the medicine box today there was no medicine.
During the drive to the office, I spotted a medical store, I hastily went there and bought one. After taking it, I rushed to the company where I work.
I parked my car and out of habit scanned my surrounding. A man was leaning against his posh car talking on the phone. He must have been in his mid 30's, donning a three-piece suit with aviator sunglasses perched upon his face. I have never seen him here before. Shaking off the distraction, I mind my business and grab my belongings from the backseat to leave.
"Clara Blakeman"
His gruff voice echoed around the empty parking lot and a shiver trickled down my spine hearing my name from a strangers mouth. A negative vibe emanated from him.
"Yes, how may I help you?"
I turned and covered my fist with my other hand's palm. I chose to be civil while suppressing the defensive mode I went in when sensing the danger.
"I read the article from the LOCmore."
"Oh, I hope you liked it, Mr...."
I replied with an artificial smile. However, my eyes were hidden by the dark sunglasses, concealing how fast I want this to get over.
"Myles Harvey."
He uttered and removed his glasses with lips tight. Nice; at least now he would come to the point. Though a part of my mind couldn't deny the good genes in this man.
He took a calculative step towards me to intimidate me, but what he doesn't know is that I am not the one who stumbles easily. My parents always taught me; face the storms headstrong when you are not wrong.
And living independently had taught me a few more invaluable lessons — even if you are in the wrong, you should not fear the world. Rectify your wrongs and learn.
