“Are you aware of the treatment that is being bestowed upon Royce Caulder by not only your daughter but your wife?”
Calin’s face turned into an expression of mild discomfort at this question. There was a complicated answer to that question for the Alpha, one that he wasn’t sure the Sigma would understand. Then again maybe he would, but somehow, in this instance, Calin’s gut told him that the Sigma’s feelings on the matter would be just as conflicted.
“How do you mean?” asked Calin.
“I’m sure you already know the how, Alpha.”
Calin sighed. “I know that Karen has always had her reservations, but Persephone, she would never-”
“I find it hard to believe that you are that blind to the mistreatment that Royce Caulder is receiving from those around her.”
