Gabriel

“Gabriel, what were the papers you made mum sign for me?” Jacob asked me. “Well, I was planning on discussing it with you once Bella was better, and also after my lawyer finalized everything, but since you asked, then I would rather explain things now. I should have discussed it properly with you first before we went ahead with it, but we just assumed that you would be okay with it, and I hope you are. Those were legal documents, and simply put, your mum will not be allowed anywhere near you. She will need my permission first to see you or speak to you until you reach eighteen but if you choose that you want her to be a part of your life before then I will allow it on the condition that she proved she has changed. Does that make sense, bud?” I tried to explain things as simple as I could without having to go into too much detail of the actual agreement.

Jacob then hugged me, whispered thank you, and said he’d never want to go back to Tara. Yes, he called her by her name. I told him that things were going to get better from now on and ruffled his hair gently, and before I knew it, he was sleeping peacefully. My Bella and Jacob have truly hijacked my heart! I can't even imagine what my future would be like without them in it! As I lay there watching Jacob sleep, I started thinking of all the things I had to sort out for us. On top of the list was closing the deal on the Mansion and getting the renovations going. I laid Jacob to sleep comfortably and went and got my phone and started to make notes. I would get Alex to contact my legal team to check and finalize the documents Tara signed and also to prepare everything for my Bella's transfer to the hospital in the city. After I made more notes, I decided to check my messages quickly and then try and get some sleep. There are numerous business related messages that I was not mentally strong enough to deal with at the time, and as I was scrolling through, there was a message from my ex ! "Heyyy there, my sexy. I am sorry for all that's happened. It’s just a huge misunderstanding and I will explain everything. I miss you so much. Please call me back!"

“WHAT THE F**K IS CRYSTAL UP TO?” I screamed out loud when I read the message Gabriel had forwarded to me. I am glad he didn’t respond to the message or call her back. If he did, knowing her, she would misread it and think they still stood a chance. It's women like her who make me doubt committing to a serious relationship. I know, I know, not ALL women are like her, but I would rather not chance it! I am happy the way I live my life. The women I involve myself with are made aware in advance that I am not the 'commit to a relationship' kind of guy. Gabriel was committed to his relationship with Crystal and thought he loved her. He always gave her the best of everything, and even though he was busy building his Empire, he tried his best to spend as much time with her, yet it was never enough for her and she would constantly nag him that he wasn't spending more time with her and would manipulate him into giving her just about anything she wanted. I always had a bad feeling about her and warned him about her a couple of times, but he blamed himself for the way she behaved saying that she was right and he needed to try harder to spend more time with her! It made me wonder how a man as intelligent as him could be so stupid! That tramp put him through hell, and now that he’s finally in a good place, she is trying to weasel her way back into his life! I will not allow it!

Yes, Gabriel is my boss, but I consider him to be my family, my brother! After everything he has done for me, I would not hesitate to give my life for his. He saved mine more times than I can remember and when we had first met I was in a very dark place in my life and had it not been for him taking a chance on me who knows if I would still be alive! He put his faith and trust in me even though I didn’t deserve it! Over the years, he personally trained me up and taught me everything I know today! He helped me rebuild my life and guided me when I invested in properties and bought shares. As my wealth increased, he never once asked for repayment for his teachings or guidance. My brother is my earth angel who selflessly took care of me! People who don’t know him like I do fear him and see him as a fierce, cold-hearted businessman. He prefers it that way, though, and when he walks into a business meeting or event, he has this aura of power and danger around him, and people know not to mess with him! I have proven to Gabriel that I am worthy of his trust, and that is why he regards me as his right hand. When he told me about Bella, I could not have been happier for him! He deserves every bit of happiness life has to offer him after everything he’s been through and also pushing himself so hard all these years to build his now successful empire. Both Bella and her brother have brought out something really good in Gabriel, which I had never seen throughout the years I've known him. It sure looks good on him!

Bella outshines that tramp Crystal in more ways than I could count. When Crystal was stirring trouble earlier, our men found out that she was going through some financial crisis. Well, she deserved it! But selling made-up stories to the press was a low blow! That dead beat leech whom she chose hopping into bed with while she was still in a relationship with Gabriel, promised her the world but instead he drained her inheritance and played a major part in her family’s business going bankrupt and then he split without leaving a trace. Now she’s desperately looking for someone to feed her lavish lifestyle and thinks Gabriel is stupid enough to fall for her tricks again! We had a statement released to clear up the rumours she was spreading about them being back together and thought she'd back off after that, but clearly, not! I will sort her out once I am back home! She’s the least of my concerns right now!
