Narrator's point of view
"Mommy...Mommy...Mommy."
"Yes baby, why are you shouting? didn't you go with appa(dad)?" The lady asked her four-year-old. The little boy looked at his mother's huge bump. Giving it a kiss like his appa does every time.
"Why you and I have the same colour skin and why appa's skin colour is different? everyone here have the same colour and we both have different." She seemed surprised as the kid asked that, she doesn't know how to answer his question.
"Because you and mommy are special and special persons are always different from everyone." Her smile widened as the gaint man whom she married in the presence of God answered their son's question.
"Appa that means you are very special to us!" The kid exclaimed in happiness.
"Very special?" The man wrapped his arm around his wife rubbing soothing circles on her stomach.
"Yes, see you have so many drawings on your skin, you are very tall in our village. Your blood is blue and your hair is very long like mommy." The kid explained using his hands. Both the adults laughed watching their older kid.
"I can't wait to see our kids playing." He whispered to his wife.
"He is very excited to meet his sister." The wife replied.
"You should know that he will be having at least twenty siblings."
"What? you pulling my leg right?" She looked at her husband in horror.
"No, why would I lie to you? we will be living for hundreds of years. The only happiness for me is making babies with you, watching them grow up to take care of us and our people."
"Then we will make forty babies." The man laughed looking at his loving wife.
"What would I be without you." The man whispered pressing his lips against her forehead.
"Appa! what is that?" They heard their son's loud voice booming in the halls. Both of them wandered to where their son stood on the chair leaning against the window. The wife's eyes widen as she pulled her son back making him hide in her soft clothing.
The husband immediately hugged her, gently pulling her back not wanting the scene to be seen by his wife and son. His eyes are blazing because of angry.
"Wake up...Wake up..." Rose quickly opened her eyes to see Briella's agitated face. Her breath was uneven as her mind fogged with the images of her dream.
It's been a while that she witnessed those dreams, all these days she forgot about the dreams because of the shocks and changes in her life, now she saw the man and woman again. Her fingers started itching as she felt the great need to paint whatever she saw.
This is the longest period of the break for Rose without painting, painting is the only escape for her and she was always seen with paint stains but now her hands are clean without any paint.
"Are you listening?" She snapped out of the thoughts as Briella pulled her up by arm. Rose winced as Brielle's long nails scratched her skin. They have black long nails which were scary but now she got habituated with their appearance.
"Yes," Rose replied not knowing where they are and what they are going to do later.
"We are going back to the chambers." Rose smooth down her wrinkled dress as Briella started walking towards the crocked down door. Rose covered her head and face with the black scarf Briella gave. It is a dirty scarf but Rose knows better not to question Briella.
Briella's eyes scanned the surroundings as she don't want to get caught by higher ranks or officials, she don't know what she is going to answer when Lord Hames questions about the girl.
While Briella walked out of the small cave which used to be her small home with the girl following behind. Madame Darya threw her things on the floor as she couldn't believe Lord Hames ignored all her questions.
She wants to know why he brought the King's daughter when he was ordered to kill the werewolf dogs then and there. Her gaze shifted to the person who entered her room.
"Where is he?" She questioned Lord Kai who entered the room with a sulking face.
"Lord Hames is in the Svarg palace." Her eyes slightly widen before she hardens her eyes. Her whole demeanour changed, the whole persistence aura she used to possess is gone. Ferocity is surrounded her.
"When they are going to attack and why they aren't killing the young woman?" Her question made Lord Kai sign heavily.
"You and I are not in any position to talk about those matters." Her hands fisted as she controlled herself from killing someone.
"How is he?" She asked and he know about whom she is asking. Lord Kai pushed his huge cloak showing her his black fingers and his sword. He took a few steps sitting on the high chair as his mind became busy with the thoughts.
"All I can say is the end to this is very near, he is going to step out. We know what will happen when he decides to conclude things."
A sick smile made its way on Madame Darya's face when she heard Lord Kai. She didn't like the way the little girl looked into her eyes the other day, everyone fears to make eye contact with her and that little girl looked into her eyes with a different glint.
"I want the little girl to be assassinated by you."
"What? The reason why Lord Hames left the little girl in your palace is because he wants the little girl to be alive." Lord Kai said looking at Madame Darya. he watched as Madame Darya played with her rings.
"She lived long and I can't watch the b***h living in my place in between us. I want her to be eliminated no matter what. He doesn't know about her and Lord Hames will be in great danger if he found out that Lord Hames didn't s*******r the King's daughter." Madame Darya explained looking at the broken mirror.
"By when?"
"Briella will be here with her, s*******r her in the night." Lord Kai hummed even though he was hesitant.
"What will you answer to Lord Hames?"
"The young lady attacked me, in defence you killed her," Madame Darya spoke looking at Lord Kai.
Rose couldn't stop the weird feeling as they walked, every step felt heavy as she followed Briella. Her inner self is telling her to stop. Her heart is palpitating against her rib cage, it's hard for her to take a proper breath.
Briella turned around to look at the small girl, her brows frowned in confusion as she observed the girl taking small steps. She has to hurry before night falls. The sun is setting down indicating the guards of Madame Darya's palace won't allow anyone after the sunset.
"We don't have the whole time in our hands, we need to be there before the night falls," Briella said making the girl fasten her steps. For a moment Briella wanted to stop and go back to her small cottage. Briella knows something is bound to happen, she can feel the grim as they are nearing the palace.
She cannot go against Madame Darya's precepts, Briella lived with Madame Darya for years now. She knows how cruel their lady is behind the closed doors.
She learned not to show anyone mercy in front of their lady, Madame Darya does not pity anyone she makes them fall into her innocent trap and treat them like insects under her feet.
Briella shuddered as she remembered the incident from the past when she joined Madame Darya's palace as a young maid. There was no escape for her to go back to her normal life of a peasant.
She does not want to yell at young girls who join Madame Darya's palace as young maids but she don't have any recourse. Briella feels remorse every time she yells at the young maids, she never wanted to be the person who yells at someone.
She felt awful when she yelled at the little girl, she couldn't do anything other than be the monster to her. It was the rule made by Madame Darya to treat the young maids of the palace as sods.
Briella and Rose visibly tensed when they both reached the palace, Rose wanted someone to confront her as she is terribly missing her family.
