"Lily, I know you are angry but this is what I agreed to with Alpha Seth, he is the perfect match for our daughter, so please don't go out there making a scene." Lily said, "Fine, I will allow this as long as the other kids can choose on their own," I walked up to her and said, "Deal, my love but this is about treaties, okay." I pulled her in for a kiss but I still felt her anger at me, I backed her up to the wall raising her dress and she said, "Don't, not here," breathing heavily. I said, "You are mine to please whenever I want," linking my men to move from the hallway. I was pounding into Lily from behind and her moans echoed in the room, I kissed her back, and her neck, and pulled her hair feeling her tight walls milking my c**k, I loved Lily and that will never change. Sophie was summoned to my office as I had a business trip for her to attend where she will meet up with her future husband. Sophie came inside the office and I was eating lunch when she walked over to me kissing my cheek saying, "Sorry, I am late but I was with Issy, we were hanging out with two of her handsome friends." I said, "Good, now go home and get dressed, you are going to the Alpha and Kings Summit as my proxy in Elvira." She looked at me shocked and asked, "Why am I going? Why not send Beta Axel as your replacement instead? I am no good at these things," I smiled and said, "You will go in my place and you will meet with, Alpha Seth, of River Moon Pack because he is your betrothed and he is ready to collect."

I left my father's office, I was furious, and I said nothing to anyone, I was not going to marry and mate some goon, I wanted to meet my mate and be happy with him. I started to pack when I heard the door but I knew it was my mother, I turned to her with tears in my eyes and I was about to tell her when I saw her sad eyes. I knew then, that she knew, and approved of it, so I turned away and continued to pack my stuff for the trip. "Sophie, hunny," my mother said, and held my hand stopping me from packing, I couldn't hold back my tears anymore and she hugged me saying, "It will be alright, Alpha Seth is not so bad, I met him, he seems genuine and will take care of you." I wiped my tears and said, "I wanted to meet my mate, Mother, I don't love this, Alpha," she said, "You haven't met him yet, maybe, give him a chance, you might fall in love with him," I said, "I doubt it."

My mother said, "Trust me, it will turn out okay, plus, there are treaties the Kingdom has to uphold for our people's safety, you will learn to love him, and it will grow." I said, "Like how you learn to love your rapist," she slapped me, I looked at her placing my hand on my jaw in disbelief, I saw that she was holding back her tears and she ran out, I knew then that I hurt her feelings. I didn't see my mother for the rest of the day nor did I feel her through our bond, I felt horrible because I didn't know the whole story, only rumors. No one speaks of a time before my father was King, it was forbidden in Ravena, I woke up the next morning packed and ready to go, I didn't want breakfast so I had my suitcase taken down to the car, I decided to drive instead of taking the private jet so it will be a day before I get there.

My guards were going with me for my safety, I didn't say anything to my father, I was still pissed with him and I saw my sister Issy before she hugged me saying, "Safe trip." I guess she heard that this was more than just a trip, I was going to meet my Alpha before I came home. My mother was by the car and she smiled saying, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that, I let my emotions get the best of me, I shouldn't have lashed out the way I did, do you forgive me?" She had tears in her eyes and said, "If you don't feel safe around him, you come home, okay," she hugged me feeling her love for me before I got in the car. The guard drove off, I saw her standing there until my father touched her hand and she pulled away before going back inside, and I finally broke down.

It was a long drive, we stopped at a diner to eat and had bathroom breaks before we reached Elvira, I realized my father had another SUV following behind us. I know he is overprotective but I need this time alone to gather myself, I reached the hotel and it was beautiful, there were Kings, Queens, Alphas, and Lunas there, and others like Betas and proxies attended as well. I was given my room key and headed up to my room, there was a familiar scent in the elevator, and my wolf, Noelle, perked up, but nothing serious. I was thinking about going out tonight, I knew Alpha Seth was here but I wasn't ready to meet him, I decided to get something to eat and headed down to the lobby, and there, I ran into the one person I didn't want to meet. He walked up to me and introduced himself, saying, "Hi, I am Alpha Seth, your future mate, nice to meet you finally. Princess Sophia," kissing my hand like a true gentleman.

I wasn't buying it though but I had to be polite and get to know him since we would mate eventually, he invited us to join him for dinner and I accepted. We walked out to the car and got in, he looked at me saying, "Your pictures don't do you justice, you are prettier in person," I smiled at his compliment. The dinner went well and I must say he was funny and he told me about his past and how he became Alpha of his pack, he didn't mention when the marriage proposal happened, he kept that to himself. After we went dancing and I admit, I had fun, then we headed back to the hotel, he walked me to my room and he wanted to come in but I said, "Nope, we are here to meet up, not f**k," closing the door. I went to bed knowing there was something he was not telling me and under the nice guy persona, there was something off about him, my wolf agreed and I will speak to my mother about it.

The next morning, it was time for the summit but I overslept, I got in the shower and saw the guard had my breakfast in the room, I ate and my mother messaged me, "Hey baby, did you meet Alpha Seth yet?" I smiled and said, "Yes, we will talk later, I am on my way to the summit," I put my phone in my handbag and headed to the conference. I hurried down the hall and pushed the door too hard as everyone turned to me, I mouthed, "Sorry," closing it and heading over to my seat. My wolf yelled, "Mate," inside my head and his scent hit my nose, it was of woods and forest rain with a musk undertone, it was intoxicating. I looked around and saw this huge man looking at me before smiling and I sat down excited to meet him after the Summit.

We kept looking at each other and I never wanted a conference to be over with so badly, then I heard a loud growl and everyone turned around to see a man walk out in anger. Alpha Seth looked at me smiling raising his glass and I wanted to throw up, but I faked a smile and focused on my mate, there was no way in hell that I would be mating him now that I had found my mate. I waited in anticipation but I felt his scent leave the room following behind the man that had left, he came back just before the Summit ended and I got up to meet him but was blocked by Seth. He wanted us to have lunch but I told him, "I have a meeting," and ran out behind my mate.
