Chapter 6Frode’s hands ached from his too-tight hold on the steering wheel as he tried to find the way on the meandering gravel roads leading deeper and deeper into the woods. He had no idea where he was, and Imre was fading next to him. He hadn’t spoken for more than thirty minutes, and the passenger seat was soaked with blood.
