Chapter 5The next day, Frode was doing his best to focus on the emails he was supposed to answer when Hye stopped by his desk. Dammit, he should have checked the book before he left this morning. “Hye.” He forced a smile. “Are you…eh…okay?” “I’m great! Thanks for asking. You?” Hye stared a second too long. “You’re okay?” “Yeah.” Frode frowned. Shouldn’t he be? “Your apartment is…okay?” Fuck. “Yeah…” He dragged it out. Should he say no? Hye nodded, but it looked stiff, and Frode tensed. “How come?” “Nothing.” He turned to leave. “Hye! What’s going on?” He groaned. Frode didn’t think he’d ever heard Hye groan. “Ana wanted me to check my address in the staff catalog because she suspected not everyone was listed under the correct address, and I said I was aware since—” He grimaced. “
