After her parents left, Shanaia went to Joey’s office to help with the arranging of the documents in folders for everyone coming to the medical mission. Shanaia also told Joey what happened when she walked her mother out of the building.
“Your parents are so cute,” Joey cooed.
“They are like teenagers who cannot live without each other,” Shanaia said, making Joey chuckle.
“That’s how mates are,” he paused and looked at Shanaia.
“Are you not envious of them? Don’t you want to have moments like that with your mate?” he asked.
