After years of hard work and sleepless nights, finally, their batch has finally graduated from the program and are now certified doctors who can and will practice their chosen specialization.
Shanaia and Joey remained in Stanford University Hospital. Shanaia has pursued OB and is now working side by side with Dr. Hemmings while Joey is in Pedia as he said he felt more at ease and efficient if he works on the little humans.
And after so many surgeries on different patients, Shanaia finally stood in the same OR with her mother and father. Their patient was a survivor of the highway pile-up. She was a thirty-seven-year-old female, thirty-two weeks pregnant with multiple fractures and a massive hematoma in the right part of her brain resulting in swelling.
