"What is he doing here?"
Carter looked in the same direction where I was looking.
"For some reason, he is always around the palace now," Carter answered after giving him a brief look, without moving from his position.
It was suspicious. Adrian was not bothering me and he always seemed to be in a hurry. Even when he saw me standing in the hallway alone, he ignored me the other day. It was rare that he would leave the chance to pass a mean comment in my way.
