Blaze had a pint in the morning with his brother in laws. They called it, the hair if the dog that bit you.
He was badly bitten. His hair was all messed up. His white shirt was now brown. The other men in his party looked just as bad.
Nial suggested they all do a quick dip in the cold pond. They dared eachother to go first.
Blaze nodded. He stripped naked and jumped in. When he popped back up, his clothes were gone. The brothers left him there.
He could hear them laughing as they sauntered off.
He finished his swim, then shook himself off. He marched back to the house, naked.
Meagan met him at the door. He didn't even try to cover up. He was angry.
Nial held his stomach and laughed. Jack and Henry burst out laughing.
Blaze shook his head. "Yup, you boys got me, but now I'm telling your sister what you did to me."
He marched up the stairs. The brothers stopped laughing. They scattered.
Blaze saw her standing in the closet talking to someone.
She was all alone.
She nodded as she finished the conversation and turned toward him, she saw him all wet and stark naked.
"There are all sorts of spirits in this old house." she explained.
She frowned." What did those boys do to you? Come here!"
She wrapped him up in a blanket and held him like a child. She straightened his messy hair.
" Come on, get in bed." She moved him to the bed.
She shut the door, turning the lock.
Sera licked her lips and took off her skirt and underwear, leaving her t-shirt on. It was one of Blaze's any way.
She started to kiss away his terrible mood. He forgot all about his cold swim. He heated up really fast.
Sera opened to him. He held her hips and pushed in slowly, deeply. She closed her eyes and had a vision.
It was Blaze making love to another woman. She was Victorian. Her hair was braided around her head. She wore a full dress. She even had a corset.
Sera watched as Blaze made love to the woman. He was different too. He had on a pair of button up breaches that tied on the top. His hair was long, in a pony tail.
She watched the two make love. It was extremely erotic. She saw the woman look up. It was her. She looked just like her.
She shook her head. She didn't want to be in this time. She cried out. "Back, go back!"
She was taken back to the present time. Blaze heard her yelling but he was unable to stop. He was on fire for her.
Sera hung on as she rode the waves of passion. It was extremely intense in this old bed. She moved them out of the bed, to the rug below. He didn't stop. Blaze kept going. His eyes were wide. He looked at her.
" Where is my wife?" He called.
He didn't recognized her. She looked like someone else.
It was the woman from last night. She was using Sera as a conduit to the present time. She was making delicious love to Blaze. He held on as she made him finish.
He was being taken by a ghost.
He yelled," Enough!"
The ghost left Sera's body. She dropped to the carpet.
Blaze looked around for the other woman. He only saw Sera.
He picked her up."We are leaving." He wrapped the blanket around her and took her outside to Meagan's car.
She nodded as he held up his hand for the key. She tossed it to him. He was still very naked. He had deep scratches on his back.
Johnny saw the scratches.
" What is it bloke, yer woman mad at you then?"
Blaze shook his head." A ghost attacked me." He started the car and drove off quickly.
Sera was looking at him, wondering how she got into the car.
He shook his head. He couldn't talk.
When he drove to the hotel, he put the blanket around himself and checked in. The man at the desk didn't bat an eye. He handed Blaze a key.
Blaze went and got Sera. He carried her into the room.
He lay next to her.
"That was creepy as hell, I started making love to you, then this woman... like....jumped into your body and wouldn't let me stop. My back is on fire, do you see any marks?"
She nodded. She looked at her short nails. "Not from me." She said.
Sera finally came out of the fog.
" I saw you, you looked different, like from the mid 1800's. The woman was with you, you were having s*x with her.
She looked up, it was me, but not me. I got kicked out of my own body. It was a creepy threesome." She shivered.
Blaze nodded. "We are not staying there again. And...we are definitely not having a threesome, ever. I'm not okay with that."
Sera was afraid to touch him. She sat back against the head board. He felt the same. They both looked at each other wearily.
" Blaze, let's find some clothes and go for a walk."
He agreed. He called down to the front desk. The man agreed to get them some things to wear, for a small fortune.
Sera wore a long black long sleeved mourning gown, that buttoned all the way up her back and neck.
Blaze had on an old black suit with holes in it, that smelled like mothballs.
They strode down the little road. Sera was finding it extremely funny now. Blaze shook his head.
"That ghost lady was like ice. It really traumatized me." He shook his body.
She held his hand. "Sorry, I didn't mean to laugh. We just look ridiculous. We have to go back and get our things."
He said,"Nope, I'm not getting jumped by a horney ghost lady. No way!"
She smiled. " Okay, stay in the car. I will get our bags."
He agreed.
Once they arrived, Sera got out and ripped her old dress on the door latch. Now she looked real scary.
She opened the door and heard some loud voices. Her brothers were fighting. She snuck upstairs to avoid them. She ran into Landen.
" How long have they been going at it?" she asked.
He looked at his watch." Like, since you left. They are drinking again. Fighting over who is the strongest."
She packed her bags and stopped to tell Landen that they would be at a hotel.
He nodded." This place is creepy."
She said, "Well, I can show you something real creepy."
He nodded. She took his hand and showed him the hidden door frame, under the wallpaper in that dark room.
He got excited. " Ooh, a hidden chamber. He pulled a piece of the wall paper back."
His father came in then.
" Whoa, what are you two doing?" He was angry.
Landen shrugged. "A hidden room, I'm investigating."
His father said," Not a secret. I don't like that room. I think it was Gordon's room. I covered it up."
Sera thought about that.
"He needs to follow, the light. We need to get into this room and set him free. I think I can help him." She said.
They both agreed and tore the wall paper back.
Sera opened the door. It squeaked loudly. She sat down on the dusty floor. A spider ran across her hand. She almost left.
She heard him in there. He was trying to scare her away.
" Gordon, show yourself, I command it!"
He moved from the corner.
Landen and his father saw a dark shadow. They held still, full of fright.
Sera put out her hand. She held her fig necklace, it lit up the small room.
Gordon was drawn to it.
She smiled. "Do not fear. You are needed by your grandmother. Do you hear her calling you?"
He took another step towards her. He touched her.
Sera lurched back. Her chest pressed forward as if someone was pulling on her necklace.
She gripped her dress. "Come to me Gordon. I will help you cross over."
He flew into her then. He took over her body. He stood up and ran for the window. He was gong to jump out, killing her on the ground below.
Blaze grabbed her, he arrived just as she stood up. He stopped her from hitting the closed window.
The ghost flew out. Sera yelled, "No you don't!" She reached out into the air.
" Blaze, don't let go of me!" She cried.
Sera whipped her head around like a siren. She called out.
"I call you to the light, out of the darkness!"
She was hit by him very hard. Her body slammed back against Blaze. She held up her necklace. He went straight into it. She held her hand around it, then looked around for a mirror.
She saw a very old mirror in the other room. She whipped her head around again. She slammed the mirror with her hands.
She captured him into that mirror. "That wasn't Gordon. It was the ghost that we had released from the mirror at Meagan's house. It's back where it belongs," she breathed hard.
Blaze shook his head. "You were taking too long. I had to come in and get you."
She touched his brow. "Thank you, I was trying to get your attention. Did you see a few lights, like fairy dust?"
He nodded. "Actually, I did."
They got their bags and left. She would meet her brothers in London. She needed to rest after all of the excitement.
