AT ADRIAN POW:
It was just three hours since I arrived here. I got out of the plane and went to check my papers. I was glad that I finally arrived here without having any problems. Since I was the richest man in Europe son it was easy to get a plane here, even when I had to fly incognito. But since I here I can live my life like I always wanted. I never wanted to be the CEO of the richest company in my home country. I always wanted to have a work, with I be able to help people and not just sit behind the desk. Sounds funny right? I never wanted to be CEO, but since I soon gonna be twenty-five I have to do what my dad wants me to do. But right now I can make my own choices and live the life I always wanted. I found on the internet that this mountain town hospital is looking for a doctor and since I finished my education year ago I easily can apply here. Let's just hope no one took this job before me. I kept walking on the street and put my warm scarf around me. It soon winters season here and it's cold here almost every day. I love cold so it's not a big problem for me. I kept walking and I noticed a small cafe and walked in to grab something to eat before going to the job talk.
- Good morning.- I said while walking into small Cafeteria. This place looked nice and smelled with fresh baked goods.
- Good Morning.- Probably Cafeteria owner said.- I never saw you before you must be new here.
- Yes. I just arrived here.- I said and smiled.
- Well, welcome to the mountains then!- The man said and smiled.- So what do you want to eat?- He asked.
- A cup of black coffee and sandwich for now.- I said.
- If you don't mind I could you suggest something better.- Owner said while smiling.
- Sure I don't mind.- I said.
- How about pancakes with maple syrup? They are fresh-made here and good with coffee.- Owner said.
- Sounds great.- I said.
After some time owner bought a plate of hot pancakes and coffee.
- Bon appetit.- He said.
I tried them and he was right. Those pancakes are amazing. Maybe I should eat here more often.
- Do you know where is a hospital here?- I asked.
- Yes.- The owner said and gave me directions. - Your food cost six dollars.- He said.
I smiled paid seven with tips and left that place. I walked about ten more mins until I reached the hospital. This place was a sure small. Most important test rooms and some other rooms for quick treatment. That's all. I walked to the director's office and I knocked on the door.
- You may come in.- I heard an old man's voice inside the room.
I walking in and saw a man in his fifties sitting near his desk and having a pile of papers near him.
- I am Adrian. I called you a few days ago when I saw that this hospital needs a doctor.-I said.
- And we still need one. The last doctor left this place a week ago since it was to much work for him. I hope you still want to work here. Sometimes here can be pretty hard but you young and I think you can manage it.- The director said.
- I like this place, I would love to give it a try.- I said.
- Great!- Director said. - Trying time is three months and we can pay you one thousand dollars a month.
I smiled. Since I billionaire money is not a big problem for me. But have my own money is a nice thing.
- That sounds great.- I said.
- Good I'll get papers you have to sign then I'll ask staff to show you around and you can start your work tomorrow. - Director said.
- Alright.- I said and smiled.
After some time director got prepared papers ready and after few seconds I signed papers. I thanked the director and left his office and met some of the nurses. One of them showed me around and after a not long time I realized that I gonna be love working here.
AFTER SOME TIME AT WOOD COTTAGE
AT ADRIAN POW:
This cottage is small but got everything I need. Before returning to the cottage I bought some groceries and made something you can call dinner. You can't call me a good cook but at least my made food is eatable. I ate dinner and went to sleep.
That's how I ended my first day in the mountains.
