Pulling into my driveway, I was already thinking about a long nap but then I needed to change my sheets, usually, it's the mom who does that, but now I will have to take care of myself.

Holy s**t! , I know I always said my mom didn't care about me ever since she gave birth to the twins but I was lying, I can't take care of myself.

" Why the sad face baby ? ". Kate asked looking at me.

I smiled at her " It's nothing, I'm thinking about getting some sleep ". I answered getting out of the car.

" Thank you, Mr. Lewis, goodbye hunn ". I thanked Mr. Lewis and then bid goodbye to Kate.

" Hey, Can I come over ? ". Kate called out.

" Sure ". I answered.

" Woah right now ". I asked laughing.

" Yes, my dad is going to work so I will be bored at home alone ". She answered coming after me, I took one last time waving a little at Mr Lewis, then got inside the house.

We got inside I changed the sheets and pillows then changed into my PJs.

" Woah you are going to sleep ? ". She asked.

" Yes and I suggest you get changed, we are sleeping ". I answered getting inside the bed.

" So aren't we going to talk about your mother ? ". She asked.

" What's there to talk about, she left K, it was her decision ". I answered.

" Well then if it's not too early but I'm leaving Friday ". She said.

"What that's 2 days, where are you going ? ". I asked a little shocked.

" Well, it's Christmas Eve Friday ". She answered.

" What !, days flew by ". I said shocked. ' That only meant I had like 10 days before I lose .you virginity '.

Kate just chuckled " You already know every year I spent Christmas with mom, so I was wondering if you can come with me ? . She asked. No, I couldn't do that, that's their mother-and-daughter time.

" I'm sorry baby but I can't leave the twins at a time like this, without Mom". I answered.

" Well, I understand, just promise to video call me early on Christmas morning ". She said smiling.

" Don't worry, I will ". I said smiling back at her.

" Just know, even though I'm not even close to being like your mom but will always be here when you need me okay ? ". She said snuggling closer to me.

" Thank you, baby ". I said wrapping my arms around her.

Then soon after we fell asleep.

Waking up later, I was famished so I went to the kitchen.

Fuck the bird was here.

" Hello, Cassidy ". She said.

' Do I answer or just let her talk to herself '

' It's probably good for all if I just let her tall alone '

I simply went back to my room

" Can I please talk to you for a few minutes ? ". She asked.

" Sure ". I said standing very far from her.

She started getting close to me

" Can you please just say what you want to say, your perfume is probably nice and all but it is irritating my airways " I said backing away from her. She seemed hurt but she can take it up with her therapist.

" I would like to apologize for my behavior yesterday ". She said.

" Okay, sure ". I said ready to leave.

" Wait! " She called out, I stopped.

" It's just that your mother and my fiance were cheating behind my back, so when I found out I was really angry, I seduced your father hoping to make my fiance jealous but he just became stronger with Marisa, and he canceled our engagement ". She said Crying.

'Oh f**k I already hated the b***h, I can't apologize to her no I'm not apologizing, I'm not my mom nor his fiance so I have nothing to say, I have nothing to say, my mom cried one night only to find out it's the opposite of what she was crying for, or maybe she was guilty of what she was planning to do '. I thought looking at the crying bird, well I forgot her name.

I just stood for like 2 to 3 minutes until she was done,

" I'm sorry for what happened to your family, also I'm very sorry for what I'm about to do ". She said wiping the tears out of her face.

" What are you about to do? " I asked looking straight at her, this b***h could take a knife and stab me, I don't trust her.

In fact, anyone cheating on people they say they love is a liar, something not to be trusted.

" I'm going to end whatever your father and I had, I didn't love him, I just wanted to make my fiance jealous ". She said as her eyes went wide, it was like she was seeing a ghost, is there a ghost behind me?

I looked behind my back, Ohh it's just dad, wait it's my day! Ohh no I need popcorn.

Well s**t didn't get down, he just simply left the kitchen to his bedroom, with the bird going straight to the front door, I was left laughing at how the karma of cheating was starting to catch up with them.
